Had an insanely good experience. Owner very pleasant and helpful. For anyone who wants to sail in the Biesbosch, a must. Nothing but praise
Had a great weekend with Fientje! Lovely stable boat, new economical engine and enough space on board for two. In the Biesbosch you can sail beautifully and sleep where you want. Really recommended!
The landlord is very helpful and caring. No problems encountered with the boat.
Cute little old boat, we had a great week with our two dogs.
We have 3 magic days on the boat. the Nationaal Park de Biesbosch is one of the most amazing places in The Netherlands. Marliese welcome us and explain everything. We where lucky to meet the guys before us to get more specific practice tips considering the facts: 1. There are no running water on the boat! be sure you have enough water for drinking and washing. 2. There is no toilet ! Peeing in water is fine, but poop must be collected to keep nature clean, with an emphasis on toilet paper. 3.We took a shower on Werkendam and walk to AH for Ingredients. Staying the night costs 15 euro (Ask for a bike to go to AH). we prefer to go back to Nature, therefore payment was based on free willing. 4. Do not miss the Aakvlaai area. 5. The Airbed is not so comfort.. Thanks for Marlies for hosting us. Thanks for Nature for being so kind with the prefect weather he can offer :)
Very nice boat. It is real camping (which is also just fun).
Nice host. Always available trough WhatsApp if necessary. Small boat but sails very nice. Forecast anti-mosquitoes because there is a lot out there. May be a net to ensure better confort. Boat itself is small but still nice for one or two people. To make your time easier, buy some plans of the rivers there, you’ll find nice spots to sleep.
Marlies is a very nice and helpful person. She gives good tips on what you need for the perfect stay on the boat. If you are looking for it, you will find everything on the boat. If you don't need luxury and want to enjoy wonderful nature, this is the place to be. We, as a couple, had a wonderful week on the Fientje.

As Marlies describes it. Romantic camping on the water. I had a nice weekend with my girlfriend.
Nice owener, contented.
Marlies is a very sweet woman. Also very patient with Kai (8 years old). She was also easily accessible for questions, etc. She thinks along and gives extensive advice. The boat is really nice and very easy to navigate with some experience. All in all very much enjoyed. Definitely do this again.

We had a wonderful weekend in the Biesbosch. It is not a luxury boat, but very nice, furnished accommodation and not worn out. The communication was nice and we received a clear explanation about the boat, what was already on board and what you can possibly bring yourself. Definitely worth repeating in the future.
Had a fantastic day on the boat Communication with Marlies is very smooth. A sweet, warm lady who welcomes you warmly and provides you with all the necessary information in advance so that you can prepare well. Everything is present on the boat, so that you can enjoy sailing. The kids were super happy, we will definitely do this again.
The engin stopped often and it took long minutes to start it again. In the floodgate in was dangereous, we returned the boat after half a day and the rest od rental did not utilized.
Marlies gave us a very friendly and informative briefing of the boat, the points of interest around the harbour and even offered a prolonged stay on the last day of our trip. With this kind of boat you'll be welcomed everywhere. Recommendation for campers!
We had a nice and fun time on board. It was our first experience and probably not the last. One of the reasons for this was that we both have a sense of humor. After this beautiful experience, we don't want to badmouth the boat and the communication, but the standard was very reminiscent of early experiences when camping without comfort. One could have been annoyed about the condition of the facility, we smiled. We were a bit annoyed at reception and communication. Upon our own request, we were informed 2 days before check-in that we wanted to postpone the appointment. A very nice woman came to the briefing as a substitute. She thought of many things but not everything. That was sympathetic but not of a high standard.
Unfortunately, our weekend with the boat that I had bought as a gift for my husband never happened. He really wanted to spend a weekend sailing with our family with an overnight stay. We had to cancel the tour due to a storm and agreed in consultation that we could catch up at another time. Money return was not possible. Unfortunately, Marlies only wanted this on days when the boat would not be rented because otherwise she would miss out on income. We wanted to accommodate her and indicated that we wanted to be flexible so that we could both be happy in the end. After a lot of hassle, she made 1 or 2 attempts to offer us something, but only during the week (we had booked a weekend, we have to work during the week). She quickly indicated that she no longer wanted to help us or accommodate us, because she did not want to miss out on income. I called her several times and tried to come to a compromise. Unfortunately, the outcome is that we lose our money and no longer get a boat trip. 275,- quite a lot of money to lose, but we are especially sorry that we were never able to go on a boat trip. So I would think carefully before booking a boat with this lady. Because when everything goes well it's probably all fine, but when things go wrong she chooses 100% for herself and doesn't take responsibility.
Super nice boat. Sails really well. We will definitely come back
Marlies is a great host, during the rental period she is very accessible for questions. Gives nice tips to sail to. We highly recommend her and her motorboat!

Out of the blue, though strongly convinced I found myself searching for a boat. It was on a Wednesday afternoon. Where I could have easily decided to make an appointment with my hairdresser in preparation for summer, I did not. I wanted to buy a boat. And I had set my mind on sailing out next Monday. Because the wheather app said it would be sunny and warm from Monday on. So I told my best friend (a hands on type with a heart for impulsive adventure (especially when the risk is all mine) what I had in mind. And he knew that it would happen. On Thursday night, 15 minutes before sunset we arrived at a small harbour in the heart of Amsterdam. We shook hands with the fancy young owner looked at the boat, entered and I could not help myself but gave my friend the look instantly. Can I smoke a sigaret I asked. Ofcourse the lovely and youthful owner said. I sat down at the steeringwheel and when I put out my cigarette on the metal of the deck I heard my friend say I think it’s sold. On Saturday morning we drove with a landrover filled with drinks and food and blankets and pillows to Amsterdam. I payed for the boat and off we went. No idea of anything whatsoever but determined to sail home. And so we did. In three days we got to know the boat and became comfortable as captains. And what went wrong was not once a problem but constantly useful knowledge for the rest of this adventure that still lasts. All the wonderful views, sailing too big rivers for the size of this boat, waking up anywhere, swimming, cooking, sleeping like a baby. It is neverending hapiness.
