I can't recommend them enough. It was one of the best experiences me and my friends had in Crete. Everything was perfect! Cleanliness, food, crew extremely friendly always willing to help us. The boat is great and bigger than we were expecting. It is worth it every euro paid. Many thanks for everything!

It has been an amazing experience. The crew is profesional and careful. They took good care of us. Good was really nice and a bit too much! ;-) The boat is great, is a bit old, but has everything you need for a day trip in a very comfortable way. Nikki is absolutely a superhost and took good care of everything. And the crew is simply perfect. Merging experience and deep knowledge of the place and timings. Do not hesitate to book with them and make sure you leave the captain take you to the right place at the right time. We were ALONE both at Balos and Granvousa. And then got to know a very special place with the clearest waters we have seen in our lives.

Great experience, went for the morning route to Balos Beach , the crew was very nice. Lunch was delicious and the boat was clean, exactly what we expected.

Had a great day, but boat wasn’t quite what we were expecting. Just a bit older than the initial advertised pictures. Food was fantastic and crew were great once they warmed up - although always helpful, I think an initial introduction to both crew would have helped. Only had access to one cabin initially (although crew opened up a second after we asked), putting this down to Covid - but weren’t advised on this prior to charter day. Would recommend, just be great if it was clear the advertised picture were of the Balos star and an initial intro would manage expectations.

The crew is very nice and welcoming, the trip was amazing, very beautiful landscapes, with time to enjoy the beach, the meal prepared and with the possibility to choose was excellent, Thank you

EVERYTHING about this day trip was fantastic. The BALOS Star and her crew were incredible. We got to see Balos in style, long before the crowds arrived. We also had an amazing lunch on the back of the boat. The service, the boat, everything about this trip was a dream!

What an incredible day! Our group of 10 had the ideal trip around the gorgeous waters of Crete, with Balos Lagoon a real highlight having our own private boat made seeing these places so special, and our captain made a real effort to avoid the overloaded public ferries so it felt like we had paradise almost all to ourselves. The boat itself is big, comfortable and modern and the crew were amazing, helping us with lunch and our drinks and working with us on the itinerary for the day. I would highly recommend both this boat and this trip.

We had a great time! The meal was very good but a real dessert and a good coffee would have been very appreciated! Thank you we had a lot of fun. There were 14 of us on the boat not counting the crew and we had room!

Wonderful experience at excellent value for money. The food is very good and in large quantities. Definitely worth taking the meal option. Do not hesitate to ask the pilot to take you to places to swim in privacy and away from tourists. There were 12 of us on the boat and it was big enough for us. Appearance a bit old-fashioned outside the boat but inside we completely forget this aspect. Thank you again for this very nice experience which remains our best day of our vacation in Crete.

We had a wonderful day aboard the Balos Star. The boat complies with the announcement and allows you to get to Gramvoussa and Balos before the big boats. The crew is very nice. As for the lunch served on board, we really enjoyed ourselves. You can book with your eyes closed you will not regret it.

Great day with friends on the boat, I recommend

The description of this ship is far from reality. It is a boat from 1975 and NOT from 2000. They did not offer us coffee or pastries on arrival, in fact they did not have coffee, they only let you use a cabin and a bathroom. Slow boat according to its age. Difficult communication on board. They barely spoke English. The food was not bad. They took us out of the water in a hurry and bad ways to return to port, alluding that they had another shift later and arriving 15min. Before to port ... In general a bit disappointing although later you understand the price and the quality / price ratio is not bad at all ...

The sea was wild so quite an adventure! The lagoon is beautiful and happy to have been with our own boat instead of the tourist boat. The entire crew could have been more present, all felt a bit uncomfortable.

Great day spent at 12, plenty of room for everyone. Very good upstream communication with Niki, and a very warm welcome from the crew, who were very discreet. Special mention to the captain for his navigation in a slightly rough sea and for the excellent meals! If you want to have a good day in Balos, forget the big tourist boats and go for the Balos Star ?

We had a wonderful day on the boat with 12 friends, everything was done to make the day memorable. We visited beautiful waters, had time to enjoy the beach, to swim. We had taken the meal option, the grilled fish and the moussaka were delicious and plentiful. The hosts take great care to ensure that everyone has the best possible day. The price is more than reasonable. We recommend
