if you want to explore the surroundings, perfect location, however Rab, Goli Otok is a bit far from here for 1 day excursion, so if that is the plan, probably Baska would be a better target. The city is nice and cozy, there is a big parking place near the port where parking is 40 HRK a day.

Very cool habor whith all you have need.
Great place whith bar, shop, rental of bike, electric bike, boat rental,
Ice cream shop, submarine.
Much people walk on the port road near boat.
Warning the centre is only walking and you dont go whith your car near port.
You Can Park your car in near parking for 8kn/hour.

Only used harbor for boat rental purposes. It is a very nice and lively place (in summertime) with sufficient entertainment and restaurants. When coming by car, make sure to bring enough coins for parking, as the local shops don’t seem too keen on change money. Otherwise use the tourist office to get change.

One of the best boats and the best person to rent from in Malinska! However, the boat is not for beginners! Experience is definitely required for this boat ;)

We rented a boat from Mr. Klaudio for the first time, and I must say the experience was excellent. The boat is in great condition. Mr. Klaudio is a responsive and very professional owner who, in addition to a very well-equipped boat, provided us with all the necessary information for a calm and comfortable sailing experience. The boat has everything you need. We spent four wonderful days on it. I would especially like to highlight the cleanliness and tidiness of the boat. Highly recommended!

The boat was in excellent condition, absolutely clean and looks like new.
We were a family of 3, with a dog. Everything on the boat worked perfectly well. Klaudio waited for us at the agreed time and even pre-cooled the fridge on the boat for us. The communication with him was fast and efficient, and he is very friendly.
We used the boat for two days but did not sleep on it.
The mooring in Malinska is very easy to access, so parking the boat is not at all a problem when you return to the harbour.
You can park the car virtually in front of the boat (6 eur daily parking fee).
Bear in mind that the boat has no toilet.
The sea worthiness of the boat is great. It has a half-displacement hull, deep V-shape, with cruising speed of about 18-20 knots. There is a Navionics device on the boat + a simple fishfinder. The boat is also equipped with fishing rod holders - so perfect for trolling. The minimum boat speed is low enough to use live bait for trolling.
The consumption of gasoline is about 20l per hour at cruising speed.
I also liked the bimini top, which provides nice shade on sunny days, especially when anchored.
I think that compared to other speed boats, the value for money is much better. I would definitely book again.
