Visiting Dominca was great... lovely sailing in local general area and mooring to buoys was not too expensive when there were some available. Did not use any marinas in region. Temperature in late December was great and the sea cooling and comfortable. Don't expect local supermarkets to have everything you have at home -we could not find English breakfast tea!

A fabulous town with lots of character and places to eat. I definitely suggest staying here there are great beaches and great nooks and hole-in-the-walls to eat. A very untouched town by westernization. All in all a great place to stay that gives you a taste of of the Island. I also suggest traveling to other towns around the island. Again the food is absolutely superb, delicious and authentic.
