If you do not have a sailing licence, you have the option to charter the sailboat with a captain. The minimum rental period is 3 days. Sailing from Marmaris is very pleasant. Leaving from there will directly put you in a very popular sailing area called the Carian coast with nice sailing conditions. A great itinerary to do in 7 days is to leave from Marmaris, sail to Ekincik, continue the day after to Gobun known for its fresh fish, then Fethiye with its ancient ruins beautiful by boat, go stay at the sandy bay of Kumlubuk, and navigate back to Marmaris.
