Yacht charter in Milos · Πρωτεύς — 2021 (2021)

Very confusing and unsafe experience. We rented a boat that the engine is too small to effectively maintain speed in the size boat it’s on. This is a Greece law but don’t be tricked in thinking you will feel safe. We also had major communication issues with the owners that led us to be stranded floating without knowing if they were coming to help. We would call and say the engine had an issue they would tell us either 5 min or keep asking the same questions without any offer to come help us. I told them repeatedly we needed help and they would have three different people answer one would say 5 minutes but not show up or call back. Finally after calling for the 4th time they said they would come. We were adrift without being able to start the boat for 1.5 hours and we were only about 30 min by boat from where we rented. When we rented the boat they said they would always know where we were via gps but when this went down they kept asking where we were. It was a very concerning time and we tried to remain calm. After all was said and done they came out to help and we were able to enjoy one more swim then when we returned the boat they charge us $100 euro for gas which was about 5 gallons. This was a VERy disappointing unsafe experience. I actually expected to get a refund but instead was charged more. You can’t leave the expectation that you are there to assist us and then leave us afloat for 1.5 hours in the ocean. I would never use this service again.

Lovely day, really worth the money. Very helpful in instructing us how to use the boat and giving good tips on where to go. The boat was easy to operate and would definitely recommend

Apostolos was great instructor! I had a little experience but Apostolos was a very patient and friendly while teaching me about the rental boat. I was a little nervous before we rented but I felt confident when I left the dock. Thank you for a great day for my family!

Great day out. I highly recommend you get a skipper as their knowledge of places to go and this history of Milos was excellent.

Go to the “Crystal” boat rental desk once you are at the beach. Everything was explained to us in detail including a short driving license around the beach before sending us out. This really helped build our confidence. Throughout our day we would see other boats from the same company with a skipper on board and the skipper always let us know where to go and even encouraged and guided us into Sikia cave. We had a great day. Lovely people. Definitely value for money.

Great team and boat!

We were able to book a boat the night before we wanted it and they were very accommodating. They worked with us on the time when we could check the boat out and check it back in. The boat was stocked with drinks and water and snorkel gear. The instruction was very good and we had a wonderful time out on the ocean visiting the various sites, according to what we wanted to do. The boat was easy to drive and navigate, and will definitely rent the boat again!

Note that we add 50€ for the fuel Very good experience, the boat is very easy to drive and it allows you to see the coast from the sea and even enjoy coves not accessible from land. Simply the boat's hood was broken and they asked us for 50€ for the fuel in addition. A bit expensive

Perfect! Support from our arrival. Very good explanation on how to take charge of the boat. Good surprise when discovering the cold drinks offered on it. Easy to use boat without a license to visit the coasts of Milos. I recommend

A beautiful day at sea, despite the strong wind we were able to sail and find coves for quiet swimming stops, we sailed to Kleftico. A large ice cream parlor on the boat with free drinks: coke, oasis, water. Very nice. Only downside: we had to pay for the diesel in addition to the rental and we were not warned at the start, nor on Click&Boat, even if this is logical we would have liked this to be said at the start.

Magnificent day. We were 6 on board. I was a little anxious having sailed little since my boating licence. Super easy handling with briefing from the rental company. Superb site for coasting and swimming stops along the water.
