Dimitrios has been a wonderful host, helping us with several issues we had (cancelled flight, looking for restaurants or the connection back to the airport). The boat was clean and well maintained, I would just suggest some small updates (e.g., main halyard), otherwise the experience was perfect.
We can only say good things about Dimitrios and Edelyn, great persons and very accessible, always willing to help for a better experience and to feel confortable. Me and my crew rented La Luna for two weeks without skipper, very docile yacht. Dimitrios gave a very thorough description of La Luna, where to find what diagrams, advices and helped us with our sailing plan, informing us which marinas for electricity/fuel, what to avoid and lastely what is a must-do. Delivery of the boat was five stars. This was a great experience, Dimitrios arranged us the transportation from our pick-up point to Salamina and also arranged the transportation back when our vacation was finished. Overall, it couldn't be better. I would rent a boat from Dimitrios again, and hopefully in the next sailing trips will.
I reached out to Dimitrios several months ago to arrange a last minute sailing trip and the experience couldn't have been better. Not only were Dimitrios and Edelyn responsive before, during, and after the trip, they also were flexible with our start dates and trip length. Dimitrios arranged for for us to be picked up at the airport and brought us directly to the marina, which we really appreciated. They are wonderful company and you can spend many hours chatting with them. We had an excellent and experienced skipper named Petros who was very patient with us. This was our first time sailing, and we wanted to learn as much as we could. He was incredibly helpful and explained everything clearly, and he took into account our goals and interests for the trip as he planned our itinerary. The boat was in wonderful shape-- it was pristine and everything worked perfectly. We were able to use the showers, bathroom, kitchen, and most other appliances during the trip with no issues. We slept soundly on the boat, even during a heatwave. If you want a hassle-free sailing trip with professionals, I would highly recommend working with Dimitrios and Edelyn. We hope to visit them and their boat again soon!
Everything was great , except DIMITTIOS who was arrogant and wanted to control our journey. He was calling our skipper 2-3 times a day for anything and we felt like we couldn't relax. Overall he the experience was great but I would recommend a different owner
Dimitrios is a super host. The trip was just amazing. Thanks again for everything.
Dimitrios is a very passionate ship owner and friendly guy. He is always doing his very best to create an unforgettable journey. We really enjoyed a wonderful 3-day-trip on the "Laluna" with our Skipper Giorgios, who is an extremely experienced sailor, knowing the Saronian Gulf and its islands like the back of his hand which made us feel very safe, even with three children aboard. We are convinced he will also be getting more excellent in terms of advising his guests where to go best.
Dimitrios was very responsive and helpful throughout the process in organizing our itinerary and giving us very useful advice both on where to sail and how to best deal with the boat. We found the boat in very clean conditions with all possible equipments provided included in the price: lines, towels, blankets, cooking ustensils, dingy, outboard motor, kayacks etc. Laluna is very well mantained and all safety requirements are provided. We had a smooth week of sailing in the Cyclades, will definitely love sailing again with Laluna in future!
Dimitros is a very nice trustworthy owner!
We had an amazing time! Dimitrios is great with communication, on time and very prompt! Thank you!
Had the greatest time on a day trip to Salamina Island. Boat was great. Owners were very accommodative. Special appreciation to George our captain! Thanks
Had a fantastic time. Dimitrios was super communicative and understanding when our crew changed at the last minute. The boat was clean and comfortable. Would absolutely charter from him again!
everything was perfect!
The boat was clean and well kept. Weather kept us from sailing too much but the motor kept us moving when we had no, or too much wind. The addition of canoes on board made it possible to explore caves on the shore. I would recommend this boat. Our captain Pedros was also well suited to our crew.
Great experience on Laluna ! The boat was clean and well equipped, enough rooms for a crew of 10 adults. Dimitrios was very welcoming (speak English and a bit of French) and helped us during the whole trip. We would not hesitate to plan another trip on this boat. We recommend !!
This experience is more than 5 stars!!!. We had an excellent and memorable experience in Greece during that week. The owner of the boat helped us from the beginning and he was supporting us during the trip to select the places to stay, eat and visit. The boat is amazing and reliable for sailing even with strong wind. We visited Aegina, Poros, Hydra, Ermioni and Aegistri starting from Athens (Alimos). I would like to remark the success of this trip was because the boat was full equipped (Dingy and 2 kayaks) and the support of the owner (Dimitrios). I'm very happy with the result and my family would like to have another experience like that. We don’t have one single problem.
The boat largely corresponds to the description and is in a condition appropriate to its age. Navigation devices were only partially usable (Wind ST70 not working, log not working, writing on the plotter flickered so much at times that it was unreadable.) The mainsail should be replaced. The genoa is good. The handover and return were well organized and carried out. Communication also worked during the trip. The crew was rather small for the boat and therefore the space was very generous.
We had a great week aboard Dimitrios' boat. Communication was perfect with Edelyn who did everything to make our cruise go well (organizing transfers...) The boat, despite its age, remains comfortable. The price is very reasonable. Two points of improvement to note however: - We encountered a battery problem that forced us to regularly turn off the refrigerator and spend a night at the port to recharge. - The last night at the port in Salamina is not recommended (very noisy port all night and generally unpleasant)
Excellent experience! The entire exceptional team
We reserved the sailboat "Laluna" in September in order to leave mid/end of November. We were going sailing and climbing. The reservation was confirmed, the documents sent, the two coastal permits (person A and person B) validated and the money collected. We had designated as captain the most competent person from our crew (several sailing trips under his belt, owner of a sailboat) but who did not have a license. Unfortunately for us, person A who made the reservation was injured and had to cancel his trip on the boat 10 days before departure. From then on everything became complicated in our exchanges with Dimitrios. The owner no longer wanted to let us have the boat because he wanted two people with the license and he considered that person B's license was not old enough. This one wanted us to hire a skipper. We therefore inquired with the port authorities who confirmed that they were in order. As the owner of the boat still did not want to let us leave we looked for a C person with a coastal license and a sailing instructor. This person no longer had his license in paper version but he had it digitally. He therefore requested a document from the French consulate attesting to the validation of his license. The owner of the sailboat refused. We therefore looked for a person D, who had a deep-sea license. The owner accepted by sending a very dissuasive message, with documents to complete asking this person to take full responsibility for the boat but also for the safety of the crew. This person had to report to the port authorities with all these documents. This person D found by posting ads on the internet and not knowing us was afraid of all this and therefore did not come. Following this and given the little time we had, we sent a message to Dimitrios telling him that we did not like this way of doing things. Message to which he replied that if we did not position ourselves the same day before 6 p.m. he would initiate the cancellation procedure. We would not have been refunded since it was considered that the cancellation came from our crew because the person who had booked could no longer come. Having already all taken the road, by car, plane, train to get to the port we did not We had no choice but to accept the owner's skipper offer. However, for two days we received no response from him. It was on the day of the initially planned departure that we received a message from him telling us that he was initiating the cancellation procedure. After a long discussion with one of our teammates, the owner agreed to let us leave with the skipper. Between all these exchanges the owner decided that the departure would not be where we had requested in the reservation but from his base. This completely changed the trip program that we had already established. So we left with Dimitris the skipper. We do not question his skills and kindness. However, we had the impression that this was restricted by the owner of the boat. Indeed, we could not sail at night, we had to be in the port in the evening from 5 p.m. (the owner gave as an excuse that this is the rule in Greece. However, after research, we learned that it was not There are no timetables for entering and exiting the port), the owner called the skipper every day and we took a motor ride during our stay. But still, we had to return the boat on December 2 at 9 a.m. but we had to return to the port on December 1 at 5 p.m. That's a lot of strain on the money spent on the rental and the skipper. In short, we are not happy with the relationship we had with Dimitrios. We had the impression of being taken for a ride and we are not sure of the veracity of the remarks he made to us in terms of regulations. We are also not satisfied with Clik and boat logistics which we have contacted on several occasions and which does not sufficiently know the rules of the port authorities of the countries in which they rent boats. Because, in fact, Click&Boat was not able to help and support us by providing us with clear answers. We also deplore the absence of a position taken by clik and boat in our dispute which at no time has ruled and put an end to our dispute. We would still like to thank them for their commercial gesture regarding the processing fees. To conclude, this travel organization was a source of tension and stress (given the sums of money involved), we were constantly confused and incomprehensible. We did not experience this trip at all as initially planned and booked and are disappointed to have had to use so much energy for this reservation. The crew ************************************************** ********REPLY FROM THE OWNER: Thank you for your lies we feel pity for all of you because it really shows that no one in your group has the idea of what sailing is all about even the basics your group knows only how to climb mountains but the rest of safety procedures in sailing like weather monitoring, calculating nautical miles, safety navigation all of you has no knowledge at all your group are only interested to find a mountain to climb next time rent a camper not a boat . Your group cannot expect a full night and day navigation because your skipper is not even paid with the standard minimum professional fee and everyday your skipper has complaints that is why he is calling our office everyday. With that blame your group not us because your group drives the skipper crazy. It’s a big mistake for us to be considerate and kind with your group to continue a booking that is technically canceled already because witnessing what character, behavior your group have we really regret it. We deliver a perfect, ideal and well maintained boat your group returned a boat that is filthy, foul smelling and a lot of damages. Anyhow we no longer need to defend our company because your comments are obviously created maliciously full of hostility with the intensions to destroy a company's reputation better move on life is too short to be bitter all the time devote your time to improve yourselves and practice good manners and right conduct. After all your group is totally a red flag to any charter office and a nightmare to any boat owners.
GREAT. We had a lot of fun visiting the Greek islands with Dimitrios' boat, which is exactly as advertised. Dimitrios took our news with great kindness during our trip and enlightened us with his advice for our visits. Many thanks to him and his team.
Good experience with the driver, and correct experience with Dimitrios. The boat did not have air conditioning, but everything else was correct. An unforgettable trip and beautiful landscapes to remember for a lifetime. We will definitely return.
Good initial reception, but there was bad communication, with Dimitrios the itinerary could not be agreed and with the captain it was decided on the fly. During the entire route, a bad state was noted and it seems that there was a conflict between them, they did not understand each other and at sea we had problems with the captain. All this made the experience not totally satisfactory.
Very nice stay in a beautiful, comfortable and functional boat with an interesting and friendly skipper. Dimitrio and his wife don't count their time, and their assistance has been invaluable from the first step in the boat until the last. Small comment about the platform: For first-time renters, a short description of the habits and customs of the boat rental company (management and financing of meals including the skipper, gasoline, port location tax, etc.) would be welcome alongside the contract Click&Boat .
Very good experience, but some problems with one of the two toilets. Dimitrios and his wife are very nice. On the other hand, the skipper he found for us only wanted to do motor work, a bit of a shame when you want to go sailing with a sailboat...
Very nice week spent on a well maintained, very functional boat, with a great skipper. Very responsive owner, communicative but not always attentive to his customers. Small dispute on arrival: the skipper and we had to bear repair costs for a breakage in the anchor lifting mechanism for which we were absolutely not responsible.
The sailboat was impeccable and we were lucky to have an excellent and very friendly skipper. Only downside, the schedule that was presented to us beforehand to visit the Cyclades was not realistic and we ended up in the Saronic Islands instead.
Great boat, great skipper
Very good service
