Flying Gitano is a 40 ft Privilege catamaran built in 1992 and completely refittet in 2023. It takes up to 10 passengers distributed between the two private aft double cabins, two extra large private double cabins in the bow and 3 semi-private beds in the saloon that gets more airflow so you are less likely to feel seasick. One big removable bed for 3 persons and one single. There are two shared bathrooms aboard. The large cockpit provides a comfortable area for dining and the trampolines on the bow are great for lounging. Discover the gorgeous San Blas Islands on board this beautiful 40 ft Catamaran. The crue with captain Pauline, chef Maddie and sweet Julian was fantastic and did all they could to make the stay for us best possible. We were 2 families with 3 kids, and got very nice care for the kids too. Crew also helped us to get medication when one of us got sick, shown us a lot from local life as they new quite some local Guna people/families what was what we were looking for and what makes San Blas such a beautifull and special place. The negative was that we didn’t get know that the boat changed the owner since we booked. The tecnical state of the boat was not the best, but the new owner and crew wish to get it better and are working on it. We had to pay 70 usd per person for drinks package for 3,5 days. That we found quite unreasonable, specially for kids. The pckage is maybe made for party people drinking alcohol during the whole day, but not families with children having a glass of wine/beer with dinner. But this was also a condition of the old owner. Over all we were happy and would gladly recommend this boat.
