Welcome aboard the Queen of the Seas! Sagar Rani is a beautiful ketch built in Australia in 1982. Having participated in the prestigious Sydney-Hobart in 84, she subsequently became a life-on-board sailboat. More than 16 meters long and 4.5 meters wide, she offers a magnificent living space both inside and outside. WHO ARE WE ? Jonathan, 25 years old, French photographer and owner of Sagar Rani for more than 4 years has traveled more than 20,000 nautical miles and visited more than 15 countries with her. He grew up on sailboats and has been sailing for over 15 years now. He knows every every nook and cranny of Sagar Rani. He will know how to guide you in your stay and will take you to the most beautiful anchorages. Alandé, a 22 year old Physical Therapist from South African is an excellent crew member on board. She is a caring hostess, and will delight your taste buds with her exotic or local dishes according to your desires. Sticky, 5 years old, Balinese, is our little cat, who has traveled the world with us. Adorable and very talkative, he will not hesitate to ask you for hugs if you like cats. Also very clean, as he only uses real toilets for his needs. We will do our best to make your stay as pleasant as possible by adapting to your needs. WHAT TO SEE-WHAT TO DO / ACTIVITIES We will be accompanying you during your stay in order to best guide you along the sailing adventure. You can expect to go to deserted islands, snorkel on beautiful reefs, barbecue lobster on the beach and sail with experienced navigators. We have snorkeling equipment and a dinghy equipped with a 15HP engine to explore the surroundings. We take care of the meals and all the food, of course taking into consideration special dietary requirements and allergies. There is only one way to come meet us on our boat in the San Blas Islands. A transport company we are working with will pick you up early in the morning usually at 5:30 in front of your hotel in Panama City. The taxi will bring you to the first port in San Blas, where you will have to pay 20$ per person to enter the GunaYala territory, Then a lancha (motorboat) will take you to our sailboat. The return trip will be the same. It will be an additional cost of 150$ per person for both trips. We can put you in touch with company. We can accomodate only 2 people on board for a stay of one week maximum in order to take care of our guests in the best of comfort. However, we can accommodate up to 5 people for an 6 hour day on board. Day trips include soft drinks, and a platter of canapés for 5 people. Food is included, as well as diesel and gasoline. alcohol is also included (4 beers per day) and rum but you are free to bring some on board.
