I started sailing at the age of ten on small boats. Growing up I took part in regattas and was a technician for the Italian Sailing Federation. Since 2000 I have started chartering with my 12-meter sailboat. Since 2017 I have started living on a boat all year round in Greece together with my wife. In 2021 we crossed the Mediterranean, then the Strait of Gibraltar and went first to Madeira and then to the Canary Islands. In December 2022 we left the Canary Islands to cross the Atlantic passing through Cape Verde to Martinique. In 2023 we sailed the Caribbean from Guadeloupe to the Tobago Cays, several times. In February 2024 we left the Antilles and went to the San Blas passing through Venezuela and Colombia. My boat holds no secrets for me. I have completely renovated and modernized it twice already, redoing the interior and all the systems. I made it energy independent thanks to the photovoltaic panels and LiFePI4 batteries that allow me to run the watermaker, refrigerator, freezer, washing machine and all the appliances and tools I need. Thanks to the Star link antenna we are always connected, even in the most remote places in the world. I like to sail safely and respecting the sea and nature. The boat gives me a unique sense of freedom. I like to meet people who go to sea and with whom I immediately establish a relationship of respect and friendship. I love cooking, eating, reading and being in good company.
