Unfortunately, I have to advise against booking with Ricardo. Although he accepted my request within two hours, I only found out 15 minutes before the scheduled charter start at 9:00 a.m. that the boat was unavailable due to damage to the propeller. Postponing to the next day was not an option for me due to a three-hour drive. As an alternative, I was offered a smaller boat that did not meet my expectations and needs. The replacement boat was in poor condition: the engine cover had cracks, the ladder attachment was defective, and the ladder kept slipping out while driving. In addition, the navigation lights were not working and the speedometer instruments were defective. In addition, the boat handover was very unprofessional with an hour delay, and the boat was only three-quarters full of fuel. Due to the smaller and less powerful boat, I had to change my planned route. Ricardo suggested booking directly with him next time to get cheaper rates, which calls into question the usefulness of using the platform. The entire experience was characterized by unreliability and unpunctuality. I will not book with Ricardo in the future and will instead use other providers with whom I have had better experiences so far.
