We had a great time on the Tranquilidad! Our group was elated to be able to swim in Capri and the lunch served on board was amazing. Nicola and Carla and crew were wonderful to work with and made the trip unforgettable.

Subject: Request for Refund Due to Unsafe Conditions and Injury on our Boat Trip to Capri Hello. I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally request a full refund for the boat trip we took from Sorrento to Capri on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 booking reference number: N°734402 Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory and involved several very serious issues, the most critical of which resulted in a significant injury to one of our party members. 1. Unsafe Weather Conditions: Despite the weather being extremely bad, the trip was not canceled or rescheduled. The conditions were unsuitable for travel, which raised safety concerns right from the start. We were not even told about the conditions of the sea specifically, 1.5 meter waves/ 2. Unsafe Swimming Conditions: At our first swim stop, the waves were dangerously large, making swimming unsafe. Despite this, several members of our group were seasick, and one had to vomit. Swimming was the only relief they could find in such conditions, highlighting the inadequate planning and unsafe nature of the trip. 3. Injury Due to Poor Safety Measures: During the trip, our friend was heavily injured due to the boat's inadequate safety arrangements. The rough waves caused her to fall on the floor, and a table fell on her, exacerbating her injury. This incident not only ruined our trip but also led to medical expenses and significant distress. One being that she had to leave our trip. See photo reference of her injury. Also, other items / furniture were not well screwed which led to extreme anxiety of the girls onboard. 4. Due to the weather conditions, 6 girls couldn’t continue the trip festivities due to nausea and distress. 5. Failure to Reach Capri: One of the primary reasons we booked this boat was to visit Capri. Upon arrival, we were informed of water issues on the island, making it impossible for us to visit it (set foot to the island). This information should have been communicated to us before departure, allowing us to make alternate plans. 6. Damage to Personal Belongings: Due to the instability and disorganization on the boat, several of our personal belongings were damaged. Plants fell onto our clothes, causing irreparable damage. 7. Crew Inexperience: The crew appeared inexperienced, as evidenced by an issue with the anchor. Instead of seeking assistance from a nearby boat, we had to wait 45 minutes for help to arrive from Capri. The issue was then resolved in three minutes, but it could have ALL been a 10-minute fix if handled properly & with proficiency. This delay forced us to reschedule our expensive transfers and all other day reservations, resulting in double the budgeted expense. While we understand that such things happen, this was the final straw in an already disastrous trip. Given these circumstances, particularly the injury sustained by our friend due to the unsafe conditions on the boat, a full refund should be warranted. The experience was not only disappointing but also dangerous. We should had rescheduled the trip to another day!!! We trust that as a responsible company, you will address this matter promptly. I want to emphasize that the crew on board was nice and polite, and we appreciate their efforts. However, safety in these matters always comes first, and the overall lack of safety measures was unacceptable. Please let us know the process for obtaining our refund.
