Skurusundet in Nacka is located in the eastern parts of Stockholm and is a well renowned starting point for your sailing in the Stockholm archipelago. The shore is covered with high cliffs and several small harbors. From here you have an easy access to the larger ocean and the vast amount of 30 000 islands that the archipelago has to offer. During summer season the ocean comes alive and sailors all over Stockholm gather at different hubs to enjoy what the season has to offer. As an example Sandhamn arrange several regatta races and offers highly mentioned restaurants and night clubs. For those in seek of a more calm excursion we can recommend the nature reserves such as Huvudskär. Somewhat low cliffs and sparse vegetation and unique surroundings. The boat was very well equipped for sailing in Swedish archipelago with all the necessary lines, anchors and anchor pins on board. The plotter, instrument displays, stove and the autopilot had been recently replaced by new Raymarine models and worked well. The electric winch was a nice addition and made furling the genua or hoisting the main an easy job. We could not get the 220V inverter socket to work. The USB and 12V socket worked well as did the sockets connected straight to the outside electricity. Altogether a great boat to sail with and live aboard on for a crew of 4-5.
