We had a great week on Scary Mary. Everything on the boat worked well but it is in need of some maintenance eg the sail cover is about to expire, the boom is not quite straight (it has a small kink in it) and one fender was deflated. Disappointing (but non critical) points - there was no sharp bread knife - we bought one and left it on board as a present - there was no coffee jug - an essential for life's enjoyment! - the SIMRAD navigation system did not give wind speed and direction or a log of distance travelled (or rather we could not find it!) - there was no guide to what the switches on the cabin control panel operated - it would have been helpful - we didn't use the anchor but Charlie, who handed the boat over, had great difficulty raising the anchor chain and had to do it by hand.
