Nice clear instructions with regards to the boat once we booked via what’s app. Clear instructions on where to meet to collect the boat. Helped us onto the boat and took us out of the cove which was quite rocky so that was a relief! Provided us with a cooler box for our ice and food which was great. Some water on the floor of the boat which would make your bags wet but there is a non wet area to put your bags away. Gave us clear instructions on where we could go regarding beaches and coves, some restrictions on this. 50 euros was given for fuel additionally regardless of how much you use (didn’t check how much we used), just to note. Also, the boat doesn’t go very fast so if that’s your jam go for a bigger horse power. Fantastic experience overall, love that you don’t need a boat licence :))

We had a fabulous day onboard the Ikagai, David is a great skipper and a lovely person - nothing was too much trouble and he made sure we all had a great experience on board his beautiful boat. Even got my boys (older teenagers) involved in opening the sails and steering the boat which made their day. Great knowledge of Menorca. Fabulous experience - would definitely recommend 👍

Find your ideal sailboat for your next trip

Choose the sailboat suitablefor your next trip to Menorca can be an exciting experience. So here we offer you some guidelines to help you make the right decision, taking into account the most important aspects to consider in a sailboat.

• Capacity: The capacity of a sailboat refers to the number of people it can accommodate safely and comfortably. This can vary considerably from boat to boat. On average, a sailboat can accommodate between 6 and 10 people, although larger options are available. It is important to take into account the size of your group and the type of trip you are planning (for example, a day trip or a multi-night cruise) when considering capacity.

• Cabins: If you plan to spend the night at sea, you will need a sailboat with enough cabins and beds for your group. A typical sailboat may have between 2 and 5 cabins, each with 2 beds. Some larger boats may have even more cabins. When considering cabins, you should also think about privacy and space for storing belongings.

• Length: The length of a sailboat, measured in feet, can give a good indication of its overall size and the amount of space available both on deck and inside.A sailboat 30 to 40 feet long is a popular choice for small groups or families, while a sailboat longer than 40 feet will provide more space and comfort for larger groups.
