4 unforgettable days of sailing between Béziers and Homps in mid-June 2023. A baptism as far as we are concerned and a unique experience that we will try again for sure. Discovering nature and visiting various places in a different and rhythmic way according to your liking, trankilou pace is so pleasant. First telephone contact with the owners of the boat very pleasant and reassuring. Very friendly welcome on the 1st day when receiving the boat which is as described. We were 6 adults on board and 420 years of experience, an average of 70 years per sailor. 2 very pleasant double cabins (we slept there like at home), the 3rd most cramped would be better suited to teenagers but we adapted to it without difficulty. Everything is functional on board and the volumes are intelligently optimized for a very contained length of 10 m which makes the boat easy to maneuver. The exterior cockpit is succinct and the steering wheel very low (a condition for passing under the many bridges along the route). The position is however not unpleasant, add a cushion to the seat and you will not see the day pass because the view is just unique. I admit that I drove this boat exclusively from the outside deck. The main living room is very bright because it is surrounded by bay windows, but pull the blackout curtains and you won't guess that you are on board. Also very spacious, it is perfect for 6 people and well equipped. We cooked there for 4 days and the card games followed one another over the evenings, the large table and the comfortable seats lend themselves well to it, despite a rather modest rummy score, but let's not dwell on this is not the subject. 2 bathrooms with reduced dimensions but this also allows to privilege the comfort of the other rooms. In short, a great experience that we have already recommended to our friends. You will not regret this experience over the water. Mark.

I can only confirm the previous opinion of this month August 2022 and we only had 30 minutes of electricity with the service batteries (defective batteries it seems) a major renovation is necessary!…. On the other hand, a big thank you to the couple who welcomed us for the outward and return journey. With regard to the experience on the Canal du Midi, the infrastructure to accommodate boaters is not sufficient, very few places in the ports and other wharfs conclusion we are disappointed.

The boat does not correspond to the announcement, its condition is poor and is not maintained. The equipment promised in the advertisement does not exist on board (coffee machine, freezer, wifi, etc.) The upholstery is all torn, the curtains no longer close, no sun protection awning, not even a simple parasol. The icing on the cake, the boat does not have a reserve of fresh water, the shower and the dishes can only be done with the gray water of the canal, supposedly filtered (in other words dangerous for health), we so we had to buy water packs to wash daily This boat should not be accessible for rental especially at this price, to avoid absolutely
