Our day on Ilijana’s boat with Jake could not have been better - from the moment we arrived he was incredibly welcoming. The boat is perfect & Jake knew exactly where to take us. He also booked us lunch at the fantastic restaurant Dubrovnik on Lopid island. We cannot recommend more.

Jake was absolutely incredible! Took us snorkeling in a bay and came back with some treasures from the sea. Things we’d never tried before, enjoyed them with a glass of Prosecco. Then on the way home took us to a spot where only scuba divers dive in a cave, gave us the confidence to dive down and through it and we were the only ones there. Was a special special day!!!!! Thank you so much!

We enjoyed our afternoon on the sea with Jake and his boat. He knows the area very well, including the weather and wind patterns in the region. We experienced mixed weather and even higher waves, but we felt secure and comfortable throughout. It was a great opportunity to see the islands and all the secret spots. The price was very fair by Dubrovnik standards, and the fuel was charged correctly according to the market price. Next time we will definitely book another trip with Jake.

We had the BEST day with Jake on the boat yesterday. He has a rich knowledge of the Debruvnik history and took us to a mix of caves and grottos, quiet beaches and cliff jumps. Great boat and skipper. The trip completely exceeded my expectations, Jeijko was very attentive to my wishes to spend time in peace somewhere in a secluded place and organized everything perfectly. Lunch at the restaurant, choice of drinks and even fresh seafood, everything was just super. During the trip, I only had one wish... that this day would never end.

Amazing day!! Jake has been an incredible skipper. He showed us unique spots, letting us discover some of the marbles the Adriatic sea has to offer with barely any other tourists around. He is also an amazing diver and taught as some basic tips, and took us to unparalleled snorkelling spots. He also gave very good tips on other activities for us to do on the following day around Dubrovnik. An unforgettable experience and extremely recommended to any family or group of friends looking to have a unique day in the Adriatic.

The boat is perfect for a full day trip to discover the islands nearby Dubrovnik. There is everything you need on the boat to enjoy (towels, fresh drinks, smooth music, snorkeling masks...) Jake is a great skipper and guide and thanks to him, we had a perfect "apéro" with fresh sea urchins and local wine before a lunch at a restaurant booked by Jake. I definitely recommend !

Jake's knowledge and passion for the sea, the country and the culture really helped us feel closer and more connected to a place far from our own home. We had an amazing experience and Jake was the best skipper we could ask for. He communicated in advance and provided all the details we needed. He made our experience enjoyable and nothing was much trouble to him despite the windy weather and waves. He even took us some amazing photos! Highly recommended and definitely worth it.

We had a fantastic day out on the boat with Skipper Jake! He took us to really great snorkeling spots, and also kept us on schedule to get to our 3:00 lunch reservations. He also offered us drinks and inflated some floats for us. There was an additional charge for gas that was not mentioned in the description (50-60 euro), so be sure to budget accordingly. Jake was the perfect host and skipper. His knowledge for the area is only exceeded by his passion. We had the best day learning about the coastline and creatures that live there whilst stopping in various spots to explore caves with a fantastic recommendation for lunch. Jake was in constant communication over WhatsApp which made finding the boat and answering queries so easy. We had great communication with Jake our captain from the moment we booked. He took us to some beautiful sheltered spots where we swam into caves and enjoyed the crystal clear waters without crowds. Our Skipper Jake was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. A lifelong resident of Dubrovnik with a glaring passion and appreciation for his home and the surrounding sea that he is eager to share. The tour was a nice balance of savvy time/destination management (to work around crowds out around the islands), balanced with great vistas across the Elaphites (we made stops in/around Old Town, Lokrum, Lopud, Koločep), intimate caves and coves, swimming/snorkeling, and a fantastic lunch which the Skipper made us reservations. It's been said elsewhere here (and its true)...our day on the water was the best of our trip!

Look no further! Quite honestly, it's the best thing we did in Dubrovnik and we highly recommend you book a private charter. Jake was extremely helpful and friendly, super professional and a seasoned sailor, so we were both pretty calm on the open water. We booked the day before and had no plan in place, the request was simple - take us to non-touristic and heavy populated areas, and he did just that, and then some! Going through the pics, we're still in utter awe and disbelief of what we saw and experienced, pure serenity doesn't even come close to describing it, but it helps paint that picture, now times that by 10. Hands down, it's the best damn experience and worth every single penny. Jake was super knowledgeable about the area and I have to say, we hardly saw a single tourist around, so he filled our only wish. The rest we relied on him for his professional guidance and he took us to several secluded bays where we could swim in crystal blue calm waters and enjoy the natural surroundings. Once hungry, he even took us to the best place on Mljet and we had some superb fish carpaccio and prawn salad amogst the trees at MS kitchen. We even cracked open a bottle of wine recommended by Jake from his heritage town and enjoyed having a sip in one of the bays surrounded by sound of seagulls and crickets. We would be more than happy to book this again with Jake and recommend him to friends visiting next year. If you're looking for a private 1-5 pax charter with a bit of a personal touch, then this is the one for you! It certainly was for us 🙂

The hire of the boat (with skipper) was easy and the communication rapid and accurate. We had a perfect day on this boat. Our skipper showed us around the Elaphiti Islands and my family with 2 young children have always been safe and had exiting moments on and off the boat.

Zeljko took us on a wonderfull trip round the waters of Dubrovnik. He is communicative, genereus, informal and easygoing. His English is vey good and he knows all the beatifull spots. He knows a lot about the history of the area, about the nature and marine life. As a captain he listens to his guests and manages to avoid the crowds. We had a wonderfull day on his boat.

We had an excellent day of cruising around the Elaphite islands with Zeljko. He was friendly, chatty and knowledgeable of the area, and more than happy to give us tips of the best way to plan our day. We would definitely go out with him again if we return to Dubrovnik!
