Marseille is perfect for a long weekend in the Calanques or to spend a week and go a bit further to Porquerolles. The Vieux Port, in the heart of Marseille is an excellent base, with all that you need for vittalling the boat and very convenient in terms of transport infrastructure. In high season it is important to book any marinas in advance (e.g. for Cassis need to call at 6am the same day to try to get a place). Keep an eye on the weather, as a strong Mistral might be a big constraint to your options.

Amazing place to visit!! Calanques! Super adorable restaurants with good food!! Take a boat ride with Thierry and go swimming in the calanques (coves)! And come in late September. It’s warm and there are less people! Every local person we have met has been kind and open. I highly recommend this beautiful city!

Absolute pleasure to spend the day with Benoit and Dorothee. The boat is beautiful, so much classierthan bouncing around in the back of a dinghy, there’s something wonderful about catching the wind and coasting along under the sail. Thanks again.

We had an incredible time on our private boat trip. Booking was easy, and our captain Michael was knowledgeable and helped to organize the whole day of visiting most spectacular places around. The boat was spotless and well-equipped. We explored beautiful, secluded spots and enjoyed activities like snorkeling and swimming. The service was top-notch. Highly recommend!

We had an extraordinary day at sea. Samy is a fantastic skipper and host. We did not only get a beautiful and safe sail around the island, Samy also showed us a fantastic restaurant with the best Moule marinière. Samy is very friendly and did everything to give us the best day at his boat.

Christophe helped us out with a last minute booking and was a lovely guy to spend the afternoon with. At the end of our time we asked to go for a swim and he took us to a secluded spot at an island off Marseille as well. Highly recommended!
