Description of Martin's sailboat
Sailboat De Vries Lentsch Duchesse 9.15m
Teilbotie is a very beautifull Dutch Classic Boat made in 1967 in steel by the most important shipyard in Holland. Is a very confortable boat with awesome charming interior in wood with big convertible beds. The boat is allways dry inside (even with the hardest wheater) and has had a completle refit in Holland few years ago including; a new Diesel engine with 27 hp, and a bow thruster in the front for easy docking. The boat is full equiped and have also a Webasto heather for winter (in summer the boat is very fresh because the tipe of construction). It has also all the security elements on board for the crew or passengers (kids and adults) We can sail on the sea or the river… I think that for people who want to start sailing or have vacations with kids "La Villaine" is a great because is an amazing place, has no waves and the landscape and forest arround is very unique and awesome. Is a perfect environment to get familiarized with a boat or enjoy in relax. Of course we can sail open sea too. I love teaching and share my boat and passion with new people so... WELLCOME TO TEILBOTIE ! Hope to hear from you soon, I'm new here on this site. Thanks a lot Martin :)

We were apprehensive about the booking as the day started with heavy rain but Martin made the day really enjoyable, we motored up the river to a nice place for lunch and then it dried up and we sailed the afternoon! Really relaxing day. Would recommend, we were two adults and two children 15 and 12, it suited our party very well
Excellent day with Martin on his boat. Martin took the time to talk to me before the day, in particular to adapt the departure date to the best weather conditions to meet our expectations. His sailboat is very well maintained. Martin takes the time to tell and share his experience of sailing. The discussions are friendly and pleasant. We had a great day!
Sailing with Martin is an enriching and friendly experience, he knows how to share his passion for sailing and likes to teach us the basics of navigation. Despite the absence of wind, he knew how to make the day interesting and was able to adapt to our expectations. The little aperitif/swimming rounded off the day! We recommend!
Superb experience on Martin's sailboat. Martin is very welcoming and likes to share his knowledge and knowledge of the surrounding area. It was a day filled with conviviality, sharing and laughter. It was the best “boledo” in the captaincy. Many thanks again Martin and see you soon ?
We had a great day aboard the Teilbotie on August 25, 2021. We were with our 3 children aged 11 to 7 years old. Martin is a great teacher, patient and passionate. He knew how to find what would please the children according to their affinities with the discovery of navigation. On the program: navigation on the Villaine to the lock, swimming and going up the river against the wind: some thrills because the boat was listing a lot! The landscape is magnificent and the weather was ideal. It was really a great experience, worth repeating!
A big thank you to Martin for this magnificent day with him aboard his magnificent sailboat. A delight. Martin is very caring and passionate. He is great with children, my 6 year old son was able to learn to sail with Martin. ?
We spent a superb day with Martin, it was a pleasure to discover the joys of sailing. La Vilaine may seem calm and peaceful at first glance, but we still worked hard to take advantage of the incessant changes in the winds! It was a treat to enjoy the sensations on this magnificent boat! And what about the exchanges with Martin, who turned the windless moments into real moments of conviviality, sitting on the deck discussing his maritime experiences. In short, a great meeting with a sailor, his boat and a magnificent natural setting.
Martin is a very good navigator, he explains things well, knows his boat perfectly. Very warm welcome, his boat is very well maintained and perfect for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 children). We spent a beautiful day on the Vilaine in Martin's sailboat with him. I highly recommend!
We had a truly incredible day with the captain. He is a man who is passionate about what he does, I recommend him without an ounce of hesitation.
Martin is a wonderful person who knows how to pass on his knowledge and his passion. He has known the sea since he was very young and after having traveled the world both professionally and for pleasure, he has plenty of experiences to share and remains very attentive to our expectations. He is also very close to children with whom he likes to talk and explain life at sea and on a sailboat. It was really a very nice meeting, I recommend Martin to any family, couple or friends who want to have a good time, to call on him for an unforgettable day. We had the pleasure of being the first to experience his sailboat and hope that he will have many other encounters like ours... Thanks Martin.

I'm 48 years old and I grew up sailing in Argentina, also racing since very young in different International classes like Snipe being 3° in a Sudamerican championship at the age of 17th. in Buenos Aires. The last 6 years I was sailing and living in my boat the summers in France, Holland and Belgium. My brothers (one won the Rolex Cup from Bs.As. in 2020) and I are a generations of sailors just like my father was (Argentinean champion many years and racing with him since very youngs kids ) and grandfather. Sail is a natural act for me, same drive a car, motorcycle or also I could say even walk. My last long sail was bring my classic Dutch sailboat from the Nord of Holland to France solo sailing. Classic's boats are a passion for me, I love classics desings and the strongest best quality constructions like steel, nothing more safe than this and a responsable Captain. I don't use too race anymore but was the best learning to sail concected to with ours sens. Keep in touch ! Thanks for reading. Martin (I'm vaccinated with certificate) Cheers!
