boat hire in La Trinité-sur-Mer · Jeanneau — Sun Odyssey 409 (2011)
Description of Jean's sailboat
Sailboat Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 409 11.99m
Voted "European Yacht of the year" 2011, the Sun Odyssey 409 is a fast sailing yacht, comfortable and easy to maneuver. Two wheel bars and a drop-down swim platform make it easier to navigate the cockpit and swim. The deck is clear and secure thanks to the integrated maneuvers, the halyards disappear and all maneuvers are returned to the helm station on an electric winch. The panels and portholes guarantee perfect ventilation and brightness. The electrical distribution is up, with 110 Ah for the engine and 220 Ah for the domestic, relayed by a wind turbine. The ESCALES PASSPORT CARD is included in the rental, it allows to benefit from 2 consecutive and unlimited free nights in the following ports: White Port, Arradon, Ile aux monks, Crouesty, Locmiquelic, Ethel, Port haliguen ... You can arrive the day before and sleep on board without extra charge. (according to availability and on request) *************** OPTIONAL : - Cleaning: 120 € - Motor of annex: 50 € - Bedding: 25 € per cabin - Tablet with navigation software: 60 € (+ deposit of 120 €) - Paddle: 80 € / week (+ deposit 400 €) - Skipper: 230 € / day Consumables gas, fuel and batteries are not included and a deposit of 150 € will be required. Bateau sans entretien courant et sale tant extérieur qu'intérieur Le reste ok
The electric winch of the mainsail halyard should have been removed because its use is very dangerous. Jean had told us this when we got to grips with it but he forgot to tell us how to disengage the engine and use it in manual mode. Forced to use it during maneuvers, we had no assistance despite calling and sending a text message. Result: 2 broken fittings that he billed us for at the end, rejecting any form of responsibility and questioning the skills of the skipper. We paid but we will remember it.
Despite a few technical problems that were quickly resolved, the navigation was perfect and the service efficient.
Good boat for an outing with friends, spacious and comfortable. plan for nights in port because no battery recharging is possible other than with the engine or the shore charger. Serious rental company, we will be happy to try the experience again (with solar panels ?)
Great boat - fast, comfortable for 8, and very maneuverable (including when reversing under engine: no need for bow thrusters!). Small suggestions: sending the GPS back to the cockpit remains useful for novice navigators like us (otherwise provide the tablet or the relay person at the companionway), a single USB socket is insufficient to recharge the smartphones of avid sailors photos and position/nav lights need to be checked…. If the annex is small (3 people or 4 small ones), this will allow for some real laughs in the reels. Jean helped us get started and was there when we returned. I strongly recommend Palou II.
Palou 2 is a beautiful unit, well maintained, comfortable and efficient even in light weather. We spent a great week on board. On the equipment side, a plotter at the helm station would be welcome for landings and poorly paved areas. Jean, the boat manager, is friendly and accommodating. Thank you for your availability and your advice.
Jean is very professional. I recommend club cruises 56.
Beautiful 1st rental experience. Jean was very responsive in managing an equipment breakage. We recommend worry-free!
We had an excellent week cruising with friends (8) aboard the Sun Odyssey 409 "Palou2". The comfort and the quality of the boat are at the rendezvous! Good reception and good communication from Jean. So I recommend!
Excellent welcome, a little prohibitive price for the end of the season
Nice week with a beautiful boat. Good communication with Jean.
Nothing to say. Perfect.
Jean is very kind, available, professional and correct. We enjoyed it a lot. See you next time! Best regards Thomas & Crew
Excellent weekend on board. Renting simple and available, sailboat compliments, pleasant and comfortable. I highly recommend
Nice boat, spi nice, easy to barrer but with a motor a little capricious that must be tame! Good reception from Jean.
Very good reception from Jean. Very good boat well equipped for cruising. Only small flat the battery on board which tends to discharge a little fast.
All the interviews with Michel were pleasant and he is particularly responsive and it is an experienced owner who can be of good advice. The preparations before our arrival and the welcome on site, ensured by Jean were most pleasant and constructive. The Palou II is in conformity with its descriptive, this boat is neat and small details will make the more of a pleasant life for those who live on board. I had no experience of a bow thruster on a sailboat. It's like a big one !!! even better. We also appreciated the absence of a GPS repeater in the cockpit that attracts so much attention that it is no longer navigation but a videoconference between the GPS and the helmsman. There we had fun. For no one consulted the screen except to make a point out of sight of the coasts. Small "hic" in this tale: the battery board. I have an idea ...
Very good boat well maintained, comfortable and efficient for a cruise to 8 successful! Excellent welcome from Jean who remains available throughout the cruise.
Very good boat, well equipped and comfortable. We noticed that the passenger compartment no longer held the load properly despite the daily refills at the stopovers. Apart from this minor inconvenience, we had an excellent week with this boat.
Palou is a lovely very comfortable yacht. We were 6 on board and the number was great. Manoeuvrable and well equipped. The welcome was made by a service provider. However we have as it were wiped casts of the end of season as we said the provider. Engine temperature alarm (but once), the alternator seems tired, cleats carriage broken GV (it's embarrassing!) The water pressure group that has a hose that disconnects and empties into the wedge (luckily we were in port and not at anchor), wind that does not charge, in short a little painful things that should not happen when you rent the boat. What is criticized most is that some of these problems were clearly known but we have not been warned at the start.
Nothing to say. High flexibility of end manager. Boat top and very well maintained. I recommend.
Good contact with Michael for details before confirming the booking. Very welcome Jean boat manager. Boat consistent with the description and pleasant. The Trinity is really a good starting point to enjoy the area (Houat, Hoëdic, Belle-Ile) and the Gulf of Morbihan. Boat well equipped with a beautiful asymmetrical spinnaker of 140 m2. Spent 3 days at the top.
ideal boat for family cruising with large and small. Sailing boat very comfortable and very at once. Very good reception and service at the top "boat manager."
Very good boat, good équipé.Accueil friendly and professional. I relouerai with pleasure and confidence.
A rental as we like, a boat consistent with the description, clean, flexibility for schedules and a welcome by passionate people, friendly and "professional". Very good stay in comfortable and well equipped PALOU II. Thank you.. LC
