I am 59 and have been sailing since the age of 4. In Portugal, I have been involved with chartering for the past 22 years with an intimate knowledge of the coastline. I have skippered "Ocean Breeze" for the past 7 years and enjoyed providing hundreds of charters with clients over this time and have welcomed many back on their return to our region. In the past, I have been a kitesurf and wakeboard instructor and have a comprehensive background in motorboats and maintenance and project management of all boat's sail or power. My off-season is usually occupied with international boat deliveries, sailing or power. The main difference we offer and what I believe sets us apart, is that we very much encourage hands-on participation from our customers, steering the boat and trimming sails. We also donate a percentage of our charter fees to marine conservation organisations.
