My wife and I had a fantastic all day charter out of the Crossroads, Maldives on the Sail La Via Lagoon 40! Captain Shifaau and chef/crew Ashoka were exceptional hosts. We snorkeled with the nurse sharks, visited a pristine Sand Bank (apprx 200m x 150m) for a unique experience, and watched the dolphins for an hour and had time for a nice snuggle a short nap below in the A/C and finished with a beautiful sunset in the Indian Ocean! The vessel is spacious, relaxing and state of the art complete with dingy, paddle boards, and snorkel equipment. Owners Ismail and Miriam were a pleasure to coordinate with and always timely with the correspondence. Would highly recommend them over excursions from the resorts at a fraction of the cost!!

An Unforgettable Honeymoon with Sail La Vie My wife and I had the pleasure of booking part of our honeymoon with Sail La Vie, and it was, without a doubt, our favorite part of the trip. After spending a few days at a charming bed and breakfast, enjoying the beach and water sports, we boarded the Lagoon 40 for a full day and night of sailing. It was the perfect way to immerse ourselves in the Maldivian experience. The crew, led by Shifaau and Ashoka, were amazing—knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. From the moment we stepped aboard, we felt completely comfortable and well taken care of. The food on board was delicious, and the sailing was smooth and scenic, offering breathtaking views of the Maldives. What made the experience truly special was the level of personalization. Instead of the crowded, touristy experiences often found at resorts, Sail La Vie took us to private spots for water sports, offering an intimate and far superior experience. The quality of the equipment and the locations they chose for activities far surpassed anything we could have gotten at a resort. The accommodations on the Lagoon 40 were also fantastic—spacious, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing stay at sea. After an unforgettable day and night, they dropped us off at our next luxury resort the following morning, capping off what was an incredible experience. A special shout-out to Ismail and Mariam for their exceptional service. I even left my water bottle on the boat, and they went out of their way to send it to my resort the very next day via a speedboat. A++ service! Thank you, Sail La Vie, for making our honeymoon one of a kind. We will definitely be back for another unforgettable sailing adventure in the future!
