boat hire in Milna · Bluline — 19 (2019)

Unfortunately the boat we booked via See You the charterer, had double booked and the boat we had paid for was not available (the Blueline 19), and whilst we kindly got a larger boat with a bigger engine (6.5m RIB Black Shark with 150hp) it was incredibly tatty and tired. Too tatty and tired to be in a rental fleet in my opinion. The cushions were ripped, none could secure to the poppers/fastenings so they had to be stowed when underway, the boat was dirty and covered in salt, the hull had clearly not been cleaned or anti fouled for a few years with a lot of growth, the pulpit was not screwed down so was wobbling underway, plus not fuelled up ready to go delaying the start of the charter. Given I have rented before from Sea You it was disappointing as we had plans for the day which we then had to change due to the issues above. The Black Shark rib needs extensive work before renting to anyone to include tube restoration, teak deck sanding, screwing in all fastenings on the pullpit, all new upholstery and poppers, cleaning out all lockers (old rags and knife amongst other things under the console). That said it rode well and has a good hull, albeit dirty and needing to be cleaned. The Honda 150hp ran like a dream.

Rented the Bluline 19 for our last full day in Croatia and it was absolutely perfect for the 6 of us. My boating license from home (Pennsylvania USA) was acceptable in Croatia to rent with no skipper. Was able to go to Bol for lunch and beach time, then explored quite a few empty coves where we were able to anchor, swim, and snorkel to see some fish. Also checked out an old WWII sub tunnel which was awesome and huge highlight for us. Everything was great from beginning to end, we had an amazing time, and if we come back to Milna next summer we will definitely rent again!

Had a great day out on this boat. Very smooth engine, fresh water shower hose was well received, a good number of fenders and bow/stern lines for mooring up. The Seayou team were great. Very responsive in the lead up to the boat hire and excellent on the day. Helped get the boat ready, provided a cool box with lots of ice and showed us where to fill up with fuel at the end of the day and the process to follow. Staff were very knowledgeable on some places to visit and how long to get there and provided a proper navigation chart. We went to Blue Lagoon, Trogir (can only moor up for one hour), the ship wreck and a late lunch in Stomorska (highly recommended as very pretty, great food, easy mooring and some small beaches in the bay). Will use them again.
