Jacques was a very likeable and trusting host. The boat was as described although is showing its age. That said everything worked just fine - the engine ran perfectly in the very light winds and we did mange to set the sails briefly when the breeze finally picked up. This rental was great value and I would not hesitate to recommend Jacques boat to anyone looking for a budget day on the water in this beautiful location.

Amazing experience with Capt jack best day ever

Thanks to Jacques for a fantastic day , the boat was excellent, our kids enjoyed swimming and diving practice in beautiful Villefrench sur mer , and some sailing too!

Jacques is the best. His sailboat fits 4 people plus him perfectly. He showed us a nice restaurant where we sailed to and ate. We walked around a village and swam. If you need just float in the water he has things for those too. He is a kind hearted genuine soul who deserves to share his captain skills to those who are willing to listen.

I had a great, relaxing time on board, find out a lot about Nice, sailing at the Cote d Azurre. Thank you Jacques. I was expecting a little more time on water and sailing but had a fantastik time anyway.

My husband and I went out for the day and had the best time sailing! The boat was easy to handle and Jacques showed us everything we need to know and was very responsive. Great value for such a fun day!

Jaques was very friendly and not a boring moment. We had a great view of Nice and it was very relaxing. Great vibe and learned sailing too. We had a refreshing dip around a beautiful spot on St Jean Cap Ferrat.

We enjoyed our day on the water immensely. Jacques and my husband, also a sailor, enjoyed discussing their mutual love of sailing. We were hampered by light winds, but still motored to Ville Francaise for a delicious lunch at the nautical club, a walk through the village, a dip of our toes in the Med. We passed on the swim/snorkle. Jacques was a wonderful guide, host and very pleasant. We would definitely book with him again! Thank you, Captain!

What a wonderful day out on the water with our host, Jacques. He has a great knowledge of the area and took us to lovely bays in which to swim and relax in the sun. He had snorkeling gear for us all and floaters to allow us to just be in the water or look at the fishes and relax in the moment. It has been one of those days on the water that will always stay with us.

My sailing day in Nizza with Captain Jack and his boat was absolutely incredible! Jack's hospitality, combined with the stunning coastline and smooth sail, created the perfect experience. The pick-up and drop-off at Nizza port were convenient!

We had a great day with Jacques! He took us to some of the most beautiful spots of the French Riviera and we learned a lot about Nice and its neighbouring areas. He had noodle floaties for us as well as snorkels and goggles so we could better appreciate the swim stops. We can’t wait to come back!

Captain Jacques was an amazing guide. He was very helpful and made suggestions to our itinerary due to the weather and we ended up having a great day! He even let us take our little dog with us on the boat! He had everything we needed and more - snorkel equipment, extra towel, noodles. Would definitely love to book another trip with him in the future!

Jacques was wonderful! We loved the trip & as an aspiring sailor, I was really excited to get some tips from him. We even got to go snorkeling in the Med! He was knowledgeable and friendly, and we’re so glad to have someone to visit when we come back to Nice!

We had a wonderful time sailing Jacques boat along the coast of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. He was very welcoming and the boat was perfect for a fun day of exploring the area. I would 100% like to do it again if we get the chance.

The boat was everything I needed! Jacques was super helpful in not only meeting me at the dock but giving me a small tour of the boat and harbor etiquette. He also was great to chat with as he has been in the region and sailing for a long time. I would definitely come back and rent it from him again!

He suggested a change to our timing so we could take advantage of the better March weather. We had two lovely half days cruising along the coast in front of Nice and round to Villefranche. A real highlight of our trip to the Côte d’Azur. Would definitely go sailing with Jacques again!

Jacque was lovely! He showed us Nice from the sea! He sailed us to the bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer to snorkel. He took us to port and guided us to lunch and wonderful gelato! He was kind and easy to be with! We loved our day!

Omg!! It was the best day we had. Jacques was such a great, amazing and fun captain. He had all the swimming gear for us and even helped us with swimming. He took us to villefranche sur mer from nice and we had swimming break in between. It was beautiful blue water of the Mediterranean Sea. We walked for some time in villefranche sur mer for some time. Then He took us to beach and We were amazed that he had towels, Beach umbrella and everything we needed. Then we headed back in the evening. Jacques was such an amazing guide along the French Riviera. He told us about so much history, popular sites, and even let us steer the boat as we sailed! He took us to a beautiful snorkeling spot and brought strawberries to have between swims. We loved his hospitality and made our trip to the coast so memorable. Highly recommend booking a day with him!

Jacques (or Captain Jack) was great! He took us to a smaller less populated beach and let us pace our activities. We stayed there, ate, drank and tanned for a couple hours, then he gave us a tour of the local town Villefranche-Sur-Mer where we got ice cream. He let us take turns steering the boat on the way out and back. It was an intimate setting for 4 people, and we listened to some great music coming back that just fit with the view. Great time!

Jack was a good tour guide and teacher highlighting the beautiful scenery and sharing interesting history while teaching us first timers the basics of sailing. Highly recommend. Jack was fluent in English which was a huge bonus.
