Jacques was a very likeable and trusting host. The boat was as described although is showing its age. That said everything worked just fine - the engine ran perfectly in the very light winds and we did mange to set the sails briefly when the breeze finally picked up. This rental was great value and I would not hesitate to recommend Jacques boat to anyone looking for a budget day on the water in this beautiful location.

Amazing experience with Capt jack best day ever

Thanks to Jacques for a fantastic day , the boat was excellent, our kids enjoyed swimming and diving practice in beautiful Villefrench sur mer , and some sailing too!

Jacques is the best. His sailboat fits 4 people plus him perfectly. He showed us a nice restaurant where we sailed to and ate. We walked around a village and swam. If you need just float in the water he has things for those too. He is a kind hearted genuine soul who deserves to share his captain skills to those who are willing to listen.

I had a great, relaxing time on board, find out a lot about Nice, sailing at the Cote d Azurre. Thank you Jacques. I was expecting a little more time on water and sailing but had a fantastik time anyway.

What a wonderful day out on the water with our host, Jacques. He has a great knowledge of the area and took us to lovely bays in which to swim and relax in the sun. He had snorkeling gear for us all and floaters to allow us to just be in the water or look at the fishes and relax in the moment. Captain Jacques was an amazing guide. He was very helpful and made suggestions to our itinerary due to the weather and we ended up having a great day! Omg!! It was the best day we had. Jacques was such a great, amazing and fun captain. He had all the swimming gear for us and even helped us with swimming. He took us to villefranche sur mer from nice and we had swimming break in between. It was beautiful blue water of the Mediterranean Sea. We walked for some time in villefranche sur mer for some time. Then He took us to beach and We were amazed that he had towels, Beach umbrella and everything we needed. Then we headed back in the evening. Jacques was such an amazing guide along the French Riviera. He told us about so much history, popular sites, and even let us steer the boat as we sailed! He took us to a beautiful snorkeling spot and brought strawberries to have between swims. We loved his hospitality and made our trip to the coast so memorable. Highly recommend booking a day with him!

Jacques (or Captain Jack) was great! He took us to a smaller less populated beach and let us pace our activities. We stayed there, ate, drank and tanned for a couple hours, then he gave us a tour of the local town Villefranche-Sur-Mer where we got ice cream. He let us take turns steering the boat on the way out and back. It was an intimate setting for 4 people, and we listened to some great music coming back that just fit with the view. Great time!

Jacques is great. He is very attentive, funny and respectful. He taught us a lot about sailing and the area. I would definitely like to repeat this experience.

Hi Jacques, some points to improve but the quality-price ratio is good, so if you improve the comfort on board surely your price will increase with the success so small budgets would not find it. You have to be indulgent, for this price you can have a very nice experience in Nice. For me it's 4.5 stars.

The cherry on top of our trip along the Côte d'Azur was the full day of sailing with Jacques!! It was a spectacular day, we really enjoyed it and were able to disconnect. Jacques is charming and passionate about the sea and freedom!!

We had a great day with Jacques on the sailboat. ⛵️ The communication in advance was great, the response was quick and it was easy to make an appointment. Jacques had mapped out a nice route along Nice and Villefranche-sur-mer. We had our own picnic, so at lunch we dropped anchor at a nice mooring spot with a view of colorful Villefranche. After a siesta in the sun on the boat, we were able to have a drink on shore. A quiet return journey to the vieux port was the end of a wonderful day of sailing. We had a good stay on the boat. The area is beautiful and Jacques was available to answer our questions by phone. However, it is a pity that the boat is not well maintained.

We rented the boat for 5 days. Jacques was not present during the check in and check out we communicated by telephone. It was the previous tenant who briefed us on the boat. The level of maintenance is average: mooring light and navigation partly broken, GPS and depth sounder no longer working, balcony line relaxed. The sails and engine are in good condition and the boat behaves well on the water.

Owner very good, attentive, available, there is everything on the boat very pleasant moment for my son. I recommend.

Jacques was very well received. He knew how to communicate his passion for navigation and his region. He made us participate in the navigation with pedagogy. We felt that he was concerned about the safety of his passengers, especially in view of the complicated weather conditions for this type of sailboat, on the day of rental. Jacques was able to adapt the navigation program accordingly. We highly recommend this owner.

Only good memories.

Jaques, whom I thank, is very kind and leaves a lot of freedom. Small boat, toilet under the forward cabin mattress. If taken for several days it fills up with luggage. Used 3 days, in 3 people and then 2, but only the bare minimum (not cooked, not used sanitary ware and the very small sink). Suitable for strolling around Nice or for practicing, not for sleeping on board, however you have to be very very spartan, not picky. We slept outside thanks to the good weather. There is no GPS, but the cell phone was sufficient. No autopilot. Sail and engine in order, they have done their duty well. I missed a working depth gauge. Spinnaker available, but not tested.

We spent an exceptional day between Nice and Beaulieu. Jacques was very professional and friendly. Must be done again

A successful outing, boat in very good condition, runs very well with the engine as well as under the sails, easy to maneuver. One downside, the return of the boat at the end of the day, we lost an hour waiting for the owner. If not, I highly recommend.

Prevenant and nice we recommend

We d. a 4-headed family with 2 children (10 and 12 years) wanted to navigate again a week near the coast. (We were owners of a 8m sail sloop several years ago and at that time we did not have any kids :-) On the whole we had a lot of fun, even if the children had most of the "fun" when it was quite fast on the engine forward. We took over the boat Tynehue ("little house" in Breton!) In Nice and then came over Antibes to Theoule-sur-Mer and have both the return and the return to the Iles de Lérins (St. Honorary Council: an absolute must!) spent very nice moments! Jacques was very available during the "preparation time" as well as during the rental period and everything went really well. A very nice experience, in a "small frame" (to 4 is the comfort quite relative :-)) to navigate the coast, explore different ports or just snorkeling at anchor (for example Iles de Lérins!). Good opportunity to explore this boat world or - as we, this time with children - to relive. Bravo and thanks to Jacques!
