Excellent experience on board the boat! The skippers were very accommodating and responsive. We enjoyed our trip to the caves and especially exploring via paddle boat! A beautiful activity, would highly recommend.

A big thanks to Ruben’s team ! We spend a wonderful evening on boat. Very clear information from the beginning to the end, we put our music while degusting chorizo. Even if it was a little bit windy, that found out a way in the bay to be protected from it and we enjoy a wonderful sunset. I will definitely recommend Rubens’ services.

Fantastic trip! Great communication and the skipper (David) was great. We got to relax, bring our own food/drink and also had the opportunity to paddle board and swim into caves. 100% recommend

Communication at the beginning was bad We were not receiving any emails about meeting points However the actual charter and the day was fantastic David the Skipper is absolutely fantastic He gave us a paddle board tour of the caves and anchored up for lunch in a beautiful location If you get David as Skipper you will have a fantastic time 'The Maori' I called him, you will see why I must mention Leo the other crew member who was also brilliant Have a wonderful sail

Had lovely skipper and hosts who were really helpful to us (even when we were running late!) Had the BEST TIME, taken to less popular places which made it an even better experience. Paddle boards were really fun. Thank you for having us - highly recommend

Organised a day on the boat for a hen do on Saturday. The 9 of us had a great time. The hosts were amazing and made our Bride feel special! They pulled up by the caves and we paddleboarder over and spent some time on the beach. It was a lovely day and we all felt comfortable !

Our actual Captain was great, so nice and very helpful. Using this service was not smooth, you didnt communicate with the captain until the day before, he did not have any details and he was just trying to help us have a nice experience. All you really cared about was getting paid. Poor.

Boat Trip Review We were a family of 7 Portuguese people who is used to coming to the Algarve every year. As usual, we like to explore the views of the Algarve coast by sea, so these tours are not new to us. Our overall experience with the catamaran was, sadly, disappointing. - There was no clear direction as to where to meet initially and we ourselves had to ask the day before for the meeting location, how to get a taxi boat, and even where to park. These should have been pre-sent as they are crucial for ensuring an easy start to the day. - Captain and assistant were very inexperienced - it took them nearly 45 minutes to anchor the boat at the end, for instance. - As we hopped on the boat, the kitchen was dirty and trash was spread everywhere. The net at the front of the catamaran, designed specifically for passengers to relax and chill, was old and not safe - By stepping on it, one of the passengers literally opened a whole on the net; the speaker we were given to play music died twice and had to be plugged in and wait to charge. Lastly, there wasn’t a place to store drinks and snacks to keep them cold which is also a regular need of any extended rental; - Captain and assistant started sailing without greeting the group properly (we had to ask their names after starting) and without confirming the itinerary we had agreed upon; - when we noticed that we weren’t going to the Benegil caves, as agreed upon when booking, the crew were very persistent in not changing their initial plans. They had to call their company to double check as they hadn’t heard of any itinerary options; - Paddle boards were available on the boat as we had requested/ paid to use them, but crew said we wouldn’t have time to use them and that we wouldn’t be able to enter the caves. We saw boats 3x our size entering the caves and sailing much faster than us. We don’t think it was lack of time or safety that prevented us from enjoying paddling or visiting the caves, but we rather feel that the crew wasn’t confident in their abilities; - All in all, it was a truly disappointing experience, not only we found way cheaper experiences afterwards, but also that we could have had a much better time (we agreed on caves and paddling and we’ve got none). —Lastly, there was not a meaningful attempt to correct the issues with the experience when we contacted the rental company as their solution was to delay the issue til a future purchase and give a slight discount - On the bright side, the weather was nice and we all love sailing in the algarve, so we tried to enjoying the wonderful views despite all the challenges.

Good experience renting a boat in Portimao. The communication with the company was easy and very clear from the very beginning. In general, the experience was positive, although there were some inconveniences during our trip. The price was quite high if we add the boat, the captain, the fuel and the ferry to get to the boat. All in all we had a really nice trip with Ruben on the catamaran. We used the included SUP to visit a cave, enjoyed cool drinks and nice weather. The only drawback was that the boat was not fully fit for sailing (Boards against drifting were stuck in the hulls). So if you just want to spend some nice hours on the see, go for it. If you really want to do some sailing, maybe some other boat would be better suited
