boat hire in Saint-Mandrier-sur-Mer · Gibert Marine — Gib Sea 392 (1992)
Description of Adrien's sailboat
Sailboat Gibert Marine Gib Sea 392 11.92m
Welcome to VERIDIS QUO! This superb 39-foot sailboat built in 1992 by the Gibert shipyard is surely the ideal vessel for your vacations! Indeed, from the very nice port of Saint Mandrier, the islands of Hyères are within easy reach, you can go as far as Lavandou, Bormes, Saint Tropez, or in the other direction, La Ciotat, the creeks, Marseille, the island of Frioul. Described as "the safe bet" by the magazine Voiles et Voiliers this boat is very handy for its size and is equipped with many well-designed spaces such as a vast cockpit, storage space everywhere, a very practical rear skirt to access the water and a very large saloon. The 2 meter draft is an advantage when sailing upwind, the furling mainsail offers a certain comfort and in terms of maneuvering it is child's play. Finally, the 50 HP engine is welcome in case of calm! Concerning the space on board, VERIDIS QUO has 3 cabins, one of which is equipped with a single bed bunked on top of the double bed, ideal for children! Moreover the saloon can be transformed into a double bed offering the boat a total capacity of 9 beds! It is therefore a very comfortable boat, very well equipped and designed for family cruising. Moreover, the omnipresent teak wood gives it a real charm. I propose you my boat for rent, by the week in priority. For daily, week-end or long stay rentals please contact me to discuss your project. Passionate about sailing since childhood, I have a certain experience, I am able to help you organize your stay and approach your vacations serenely. Do not hesitate to send me a message! We had a fantastic weekend on Adrien's boat and the description matches the reality. We did have some issues with the battery and reverse leaver however Adrien was quick to communicate and help get these fixed during the weekend. We would rent from Adrien again
Great stay on Veridis Quo! Etienne's welcome and advice are great, very accommodating and you can see that the boat is very well maintained! See you next time I hope, Prisca
Functional boat that moves well. Good reception and accommodating.
Very comfortable 4-day cruise for 7 people on the boat. Despite its old age, the boat works perfectly; engine, windlass, sail, electricity and fridge... Communication with Adrien and Etienne was great, I recommend 100%!
Adrien and Etienne are very welcoming and warm. The departure port is ideal for reaching Porquerolles and spending a weekend there. The Veridis Quo is a spacious boat that has very good seakeeping.
Great week on Veridis quo. Adrien and Etienne are attentive and responsive. The boat is easy to skipper, even alone and the engine works perfectly. The paddles and the annex are very appreciable.
A very spacious and comfortable sailboat. Everything works very well on board. The sailing area is exceptional. Communication with the owner is very easy and pleasant. I recommend! ⛵
Adrien and Étienne were available, welcoming and accommodating. We will rent their boat again which, despite its age, was perfectly in line with our expectations and especially in navigation. Thank you to them and see you soon.
Sailing to the Porquerolles islands during a 3-day weekend. Including the first with force 4 and a hollow of 1m20. Very good seakeeping and super performance of the genoa with 8 knots. Comfort, Equipment, Safety and equipment as advertised. Good maintenance despite the age of the ship ?. Reactivity and attentiveness of the owner I recommend
Boat, spacious, very seaworthy, easy to maneuver, very warm welcome from the rental company, we had an excellent stay ?
Great experience with this pretty quality boat, which has aged with dignity. We felt very comfortable. Very nice owner, perfect communication. Thank you so much!
Adrien and his father present at check in/out communicated very well before, during and until the end of the stay and were very friendly. I generally recommend renting from Adrien. Concerning the boat, it needs some updating due to its age but does the job. Leaks were noted in the right rear cabin during navigation as well as a problem linked to the engine damper (stopping directly at the engine), we were warned in advance that there would be these inconveniences and did not had additional surprises. However, I have no doubt about Adrien's professionalism and his ability to resolve these inconveniences by 2024! I will rent again with great pleasure.
A beautiful boat tinkered with from all sides and which takes a lot of water. An unreliable owner. Fans of sailing, regattas or cruises, we rented Adrien's sailboat for 15 days this summer (we have been renting every summer for several years) Upstream of the rental, Adrien was very attentive, rather available and accommodating. The rest didn't go as expected. We leave the port 20 hours late on our paid holidays for multiple DIYs, engine damper that did not work, starter problem, rope to change, frayed was cable .... etc. (only 2 hours of rotation between all their rentals). The rest of the Cruise allowed us to get to know this boat in depth by solving all the difficulties we encountered as we went along (very hard engine inverter, battery charge failure, Windlass no longer working, no more fridge, broken cam cleats, fresh water tank clogged with limestone, etc.). The biggest difficulty was the alternator which no longer worked (badly tensioned belt and disconnected electric wire). Preventing us from raising the anchor to the windlass in a fairly windy situation. In strong winds upwind, the boat, subject to the spray, took on a lot of water through the coachroof portholes. When I say a lot, it's because the bilge pumps were struggling to keep up. Fortunately, our crew was experienced, handy and resourceful as possible. We end the vacation disappointed, stressed for some and with the unpleasant feeling that this is a boat with money, poorly maintained by owners who reduce costs as much as possible. On the way back, despite numerous exchanges with Adrien and his father, at first calmly, at the end exasperated, we only get a meager compensation and a lot of condescension and disrespect. In summary, unless you have a pronounced taste for odds and ends, we do not recommend that you rent this boat from this owner who shows little respect for the safety of others. Signed a handyman crew and confirmed in cruising as in regatta. Owner's right of reply: "Adrien is looking for a new boat for 8 people at 4000 euros for two weeks of sailing in the Mediterranean, oops that does not exist. At the slightest problem Adrien will not hesitate to ask you for a discount, (or rather force you) by taking hostage your boat at the end of the lease, by threatening a 70-year-old owner, by harassing you on the phone. Simple feeling of an individual renting his boat at low prices to young adults who are very (too) sure of themselves"
very nice summer navigation very nice welcome from the owners Small minor material problems (loss of a buoy for example) that have arisen very generally raise questions about the tenant's insurance conditions in the event of a claim (small or tinaniceste. !!) of his .fact,?Click&Boat rental contracts. see you soon
We had a great week on Adrien's boat. The boat is very seaworthy and pleasant to sail as well as motor. The boat deserves better maintenance, but I'm sure Adrien will get to it at the end of the season. Adrien was very available and accommodating for the little disappointments we had.
Adrien's boat is a very seaworthy boat with which we went to Corsica without any pitfalls. It is spacious and quite functional. We still encountered hiccups during our stay due to equipment that has not been changed for a long time (leaky dinghy engine, GPS HS). Veridis Quo deserved to be a little better prepared for the rental. Despite this, Adrien remained very responsive and available. We spent a very nice week on his boat which we will gladly rent again once these little problems have been resolved. See you soon and thank you again!
Despite its age, the Veridis quo remains a ship offering good performance, generous volumes and the charm of old sailboats with teak decks. A certain number of improvements must be made to perfect the stay of future tenants and I think that Adrien will work on this. He was very responsive and available to help us during this week. The promotion offered was very correct.
Great boat, thank you Adrien for an unforgettable family outing. The boat was as described, perfect for a family outing, we were 4 adults and 6 children. The interior is spacious and the saloon of a good size. The kitchen is well equipped and the hospitality excellent. We all hope to be able to find the boat soon, a BIG BIG thank you
