Thank you for the great trip, Ricardo and Nora! The week on the boat with you will be talked about by us and the kids for a long time – thank you for creating these memories with us! You provided a customised trip to our preferences and accommodated the kids perfectly. Thank you for listening, accommodating and providing a child friendly and safe environment! Your experience as a captain (for most of your life) did shine through and we loved all the stories. The breakfasts were great and made the trip that much more relaxing! Cruising around the various Croatian islands and towns on your boat was the perfect way to experience the country and culture. We wish you well in future chartering and a well-deserved winter break. Until next time! Celine, Philip and kids.
Ricardo and Nora were amazing to spend a full 8 days with. Despite us all speaking very different languages the communication was not bad at all. The most important aspect of our trip was that my family and I never once felt unsafe. Ricardo ticked every box for our trip and he took us to the most amazing places. Nothing was too much for him and Nora and we truly had the most amazing time. If at all possible, we will most definitely be back and if we ever sail again it will be with Ricardo. Thanks Ricardo and Nora for the most memorable family holiday I could ever ask for. The 8 days were so good for my family! Thank you again!
We had an amazing time on Patagonia, with her Captain Richard Knight. We stayed at amazing ports and marinas and the weather was mostly great, had wonderful conversations with the Captain and he is a great cook, had a lot of laughs and have great memories to tell to our friends. Richard was very accommodating with everything and we will be back to sail again soon. Thank you for a trip of a life time.
Ricardo was very welcoming and very nice! He planned our sailing trip perfectly and took us to most beautiful beaches and hidden places. We truly enjoyed our trip and will definitely be back again.
We had a wonderful day at sea with Ricardo and Nora! They are charming and naturally doing everything they can to make our day perfect. Lunch was delicious, thanks again to Nora. We will meet gain for sure!
Our week of sailing with skipper Ricardo was truly unforgettable! As a family with three teenagers, we had different wishes, but Ricardo managed to satisfy everyone. He is a great skipper who not only has excellent navigation skills but is also attentive to the needs of his guests. He took us to the most beautiful and quiet places, where we could enjoy the surroundings in peace. The atmosphere on board was relaxed and cozy, partly thanks to Ricardo and Nora, who really made us feel at home. As a family we loved every minute and can highly recommend this experience. Thank you, Ricardo and Nora, for a fantastic week on the water
Wau, wau and wau. What an experience!!! Thank you so much for letting us stay at your Home and beloved boat Patagonia Ricardo🙏 We spent 5 days on Patagonia and felt like this sailing experience was way too short. We had such a great time with Ricardo, who is both the owner and skipper of the boat. Not only he is a very experienced captain, and we felt so safe in his company on the ocean. He made us a totally customized trip taken us to his hidden gems and beautiful ports and marinas around Vis, Hvar, Brac and Solta. A perfect mix and match for our group of 7 with both teenagers and adults. This trip was worth every single euro and we would LOVE ❤️❤️❤️ to be back on Patagonia with Ricardo again in the future. For others reading this: search no more, just book and you will enjoy. Thanks again, see you🙏🙏🙏
Best charter in Croatia. The creew was very thoughtful and friendly, delicious breakfast and it was a wonderful experience to our family. Hope back soon.
Ricardo, Is charming, professional, skilled, relaxed and knowledgeable. He did not cease to surprise us taking us from one beautiful place to another and giving us a real feel for the islands of the coast of Split and his love of sailing. Even a stormy night at sea felt safe and comfortable. Ricardo is old school, loves interpersonal relations and does not take you to any of the everyday spots all tourists go to. He has found a few hidden gems along the islands, with unbelievable local cuisine, swimming and relaxing. We (parents and two teenage daughters) spent a week on his boat and I must say he was very good at reading our mood and planning accordingly. Like my wife said, Ricardo is “the Bob Marley” of the skipper’s. We not only had a lovely holiday, it feels as if we gained a true friend
Ricardo is a great guy and it was a pleasure to meet him. He has a very good program.
Richard was great from the off! His knowledge and boat exceeded expectation! We all throughly enjoyed the day and our only regret was we didn’t book more days! Thank you Richard!
We spent a whole day with Ricardo and found exactly what we were looking for. The life experience on a nice charter sail boat, navigation experience and lots lots of relaxing moments, simply enjoying the sailing. Ricardo was very nice! He adapted the program to our wish and gave us the opportunity to learn and experiment everything on the boat. I recommend!
Ricardo is a very hospitable and knowledgeable captain. He was flexible with our itinerary and the weather. The Patagonia is an older boat but very well outfitted and in expert hands with Ricardo as Captain!
We are a family of four and we spent three days on board Ricardo’s boat with him and Nora hosting us. They took us to beautiful places and changed schedule according to our preferences. Ricardo and Nora were both really welcoming and friendly and the boat was in great condition. Our girls loved their first experience on a sailing boat which was the whole aim of our trip, we will be back! Highly recommended.
Knight was great, had a brilliant trip on the boat - knew all the best places to go and was a spacious below deck
Captain Ricardo Knight Perkins shared his home(boat) and wealth of experience/ knowledge of yachting and the Croatian islands with our family. He selected exquisite spots to visit/stay and then went further by curating the restaurants, towns and water spots which elevated the experience to another level. (I won’t reveal the locations and additional activities as you must join Captain Knight and experience the wonder with your closest family and friends) It was a trip that my family will never forget and we highly recommend Captain Knight and his Patagonia yacht for your next adventure.
Ricardo and Norah could not have made our trip more special. We were a group of 5 women (late 20s/early 30s) and they went over and above to plan a route that worked for us whilst keeping the cabins clean and tidy, and having a great laugh along the way. Norah also provided some surprise treats for us. Ricardo is incredibly experiences and we felt very safe during the charter. We did half our holiday via Airbnb and half on the sailboat with Ricardo and we found that being on the boat meant we saw so much more of Croatia and areas that we wouldn't have seen if we were traveling by land. Such a magical experience - highly recommend, trip of a lifetime!
Richard has great local knowledge and experience. He was the perfect guide to the beautiful Croatian archipelago
We had a great day with Ricardo at his boat! Ricardo is an absolute professional and a great person! Strongly recommended!
I was very hesitant about leaving a remark but decided that it is important for future families to understand our experience which was underwhelming. Also for the captain to understand what can be done better. As a mother of three children aged 14, 13 and 8 travelling alone with them I hoped this sailing trip would be a real highlight of our holiday but it turned out to be an uncomfortable experience and I was left feeling very short changed. First of all I booked the boat to sail from Trogir and organized our accommodation around it along with free parking where I could leave our car during our time away and accommodation for when we disembarked again in Trogir. Late the night before we were informed that we would sail from Split so we had to find our way early morning to Split and pay an additional 80 euros in parking fees etc. We were also informed the night before that a woman would be joining our trip to ‘help’. There seemed to be no benefit to having this extra person on board other than they seem to be friends and they occupied the upper deck and chain smoked continually around my children. We had agreed by message in the site platform that we wanted to visit remote places that are inaccessible to travelers ordinarily and that we wanted to explore many places including Vis island / blue lagoon etc. We visited a very small number of places and the captain refused to take us to Vis Island as agreed. The weather was windy on our first day so we motored to Brac island and moored in one bay where we stayed the whole day and night. The following day and for the rest of our three day trip the weather was perfect and there were many boats out in the open water with their sails open. Again we motored only, no sailing, to Hvar island where we moored again in a busy bay. We were told to disembark and to spend the day on a small beach in the other side of the bay and eat in a restaurant to pass our time. I explained that this is not at all what we wanted to do but I was told in response that if we moved again from that mooring place that we wouldn’t have a place to moor and sleep that evening. Bearing in mind it was around 10am at this point and we had explored nothing, nor even raised the sails, both myself and the children were very disappointed. We stayed on the recommended beach for a few hours and rented chairs, it was horrendously busy and in the end we messaged and called Riccardo to pick us up. It took 20 minutes for him to even respond while we waited in the scorching heat on the jetty. The children were bored and frustrated. They were offered the paddle board to go and explore. I had not agreed to have the paddle on-board as an option (as this was listed as an extra 100 euros charge). We were meant to have diving equipment (which was listed on our Click and Boat invoice) but there was none and I assumed that the paddle had been put on board in exchange. That evening my eight year old son had a terrible migraine / vomiting, and along with the captain we felt it was wise to go to a port where we could access a doctor, so we motored in late evening to Hvar city. For this I was appreciative. My son recovered soon after and we returned to the initial mooring spot for the night. The next day we were told we would go to another swim spot before going back to Split. At the swimming spot the children were enjoying diving for shells and we were hurried to leave to ‘get back on time’ I asked again about raising the sails which the captain did for around 15 - 20 minutes on the return journey. We arrived back three hours in advance of when we were told we would return. I was given an invoice as we approached the port for the additional fees and the paddle board was listed at an additional 100 euros. I questioned this, given that there was no diving equipment, as I feel I should have the right to calmly ask a question about any invoice. Both the captain and his ‘assistant’ immediately became very aggressive, shouting at me in front of my three children. I asked them to stop shouting at me and not to upset my children but this wasn’t respected so I remained under deck until we arrived in port. I paid the invoice in full in cash including the paddle board fee which I felt was unjust. Another point of note to any potential bookers, do take your own clean sheets as you are offered a duvet used by all passengers without a cover or sheet. We were also given one hand sized towel between four passengers.
Richard and Nora were very hospital hosts, taking care of eg breakfast, fruits, cleaning, safety and tips re our tour. Richard takes care of his boat (which is his home) which is well equipped with eg 4 huts, wifi, dingy and ‘waterfun’ equipment
We, family of 4, spent a week onboard “Patagonia” with Captain Richard. Richard is a really experienced captain with all the knowledge you need for a safe, comfortable and joyful sailing charter in Croatia. On our trip Richard brought his fried Nora that hosted and made us wonderful breakfasts. We visited a lot of beautiful locations both moored in small islands villages and at anchor. Communication was easy both before and during the charter. Do not hesitate to book Patagonia and Richard for a nice trip.
Amazing captain and person. Friendly, professional and gentle. He became one more on this trip and a very good friend. 100% recomendable.
We were a group of 8 adults and had a wonderful day trip with Ricardo. Communication beforehand was straightforward, he cooked a nice lunch for us and made sure we arrived back at the marina perfectly on time. I recommend him very much!
Ricardo was an excellent captain, host and cook He was in constant communication before the rental and also agreed to make lunch on board for our group. His boat was very comfortable and properly maintained. As an amateur sailor, I also appreciated his knowledge of sailing. Ricardo boat is his home and I could see the love and passion he has for sailing. We had booked for 8 hours but ended up more than 10 hours on the boat. This was the most memorable experience of our vacation and we would love sail with Ricardo again. Wish him all the best for the sailing from Croatia to Greece.
