Description of Vasse's sailboat
Sailboat Beneteau Oceanis 361 11m
Fantastic nice sailboat with both substantial space and good sailing characteristics! Furling main and furling genoa for easy handling. Oversized engine for safety and convenience (Yanmar 30 Hp). Cruising speed 5-6 knots with only 0.3l/nm. Only ~1.54m draft to be able to access more lovely natural harbours. 15kg anchor in the fore and aft, with electric winch in front. Plenty of fenders, mooring pin, rock wedges and other practical equipment. autopilot, wind instrument, sonar and brand new GPS. Standing height in the whole boat of approx. 1.9m, good volume and floor space that allows you to pass each other and socialize "indoors" as well. Three separate cabins with large beds (~170x200cm in the forward cabin, ~145x200cm in the aft cabins) and plenty of storage with separate wardrobes. Enormous table in the lounge with sofas that can be made into beds to approx. 100x200cm. Large refrigerator, gas stove with two burners and oven, full kitchen equipment, charcoal grill, etc. Hot water via motor and shore current in kitchen, sink, shower and outdoor shower. In the toilet room there is also "wet storage" where you can hang storm clothes or swimwear to dry. Diesel heaters are available for cool summer evenings. Multiple 12v and usb sockets to keep devices charged. Also powerful 230v outlet via battery (~300W) for computer chargers, etc. Solar panel 200W in front of the sprayhood makes the boat self-sufficient in electricity. Requirement for previous sailing experience and at least a coastal skipper qualification for the skipper and preferably additional experience that can be proven by one or more of the crew.

We had a great time chartering the Oceanis 361 from Vasse. The boat was in excellent shape, fully stocked, well equipped, and easy to handle. Very much recommended on all accounts.
An overall wonderful experience. Great communications and assistance. We have sailed in many locations around world and archipelagos is at the top. Would highly recommend.
We're sailboat owners ourselves, but very spontaneously re-planned due to bad weather in our home sailing area. Vasse was very responsive on "Click & Boat" and we quickly managed to fix a last minute 5-day charter, including easy payment via PayPal. We loved the fact that we could check in already at 9:00 on the first day and check out as late as 18:00 on the last day - a clear plus! Before check-in, Vasse sent a link to all necessary information about the boat, and the check-in itself was again very easy and pragmatic. Communication was mostly done via Whatsapp. The boat, a Oceanis 361, is also used by Vasse and his family, so it is clean, well equiped and we loved the easy handling. We explicitly liked the truly comfy beds with an extra mattress cover and cosy bedding, the sprayhood/bimini setup (both full enclosure and "walls off" is possible) and the fact that there are some basics such as salt/pepper/olive oil, cleaning equipment, toilet paper etc). Needless to say that the Stockholm Archipelago is a sailor's dream 🙂 Vasse is a great host in every way and we highly recommend chartering this boat!
Vasse was very helpful while we prepared the trip as well as during the trip. The boat is perfectly equiped to have a great time in the stockholm archipelago.
We’ve spent to wonderful days on Vasse’s well equipped and well maintained Oceanis. The cockpit tent/cover/bimini was the best both in the sun and the occasional shower. Centrally located berth with a stunning scenery. Vasse is a great host. Smooth and quick communications.
Had a great time exploring thé Stockholm archipelago and crossing to Åland on Vasse's boat which in great condition and well equiped for this sailing area (sails, mooring, dinghy, full bimini, black water tank with electrical toilet ...). Vasse has been very helpful and welcoming. Great sailing experience !
Very nice boat corresponding to what we were expecting. The owner was very helpful and we had a very nice trip. We had some rather rough weather but we had no problem with the boat.
Very good experience with this boat ! Perfectly placed in the south of Skurusundet, allowing rapid access to the north and south of the archipelago. The welcome from Vasse was very friendly, and the condition of the boat was perfect, with a clean, well-maintained and well-equipped boat, for both touring and more sporty settings.
We had a fantastic week on this boat. The boat was in perfect condition. The communication with the owner was quick, smooth and straight forward. We loved the boat, the owner and we will not hesitate to rent from him again!
The boat was perfect for our needs. We were 4 adults and 3 children and the spaces worked well for us. The boat was well equipped and easy to sail. Vasse was helpful and quick to answer questions. The only thing we missed was a bow thruster which would have been handy at some guest ports. Thanks Vasse!
Everything is OK on this Oceania 361. Good welcome from Vasily the owner. Too bad the boat's reception area is not a real port with its usual amenities
The boat itself was perfect. Easy to handle with furling sail. Reception and communication very good. Easy and flexible to agree with the owner. However, the navigator was flawed. The screen was small and unclear. The bow line pointed 30 degrees wrong. Hydrographics detailed charts were not installed. All this meant that we had to navigate with the På Sjön mobile app instead. The self-steering worked well, but not with too much pressure in the sails. But this probably has more to do with the boat's balance. In a little more crosswind, she wants to bow or fall and the rudder is then not quite enough to hold on. You have to be vigilant about it. The cockpit tent is very useful. The draft is shallow, which gives many opportunities for mooring. Anchoring equipment works well. All in all, we really want to recommend the boat. Little tips: - Small rock wedges (climber wedges) give more possibilities - Small shock-cords (rubber bands) or small ropes for attaching things would be good. - Clearer marking of the lines that need to be used while sailing would be good (outhaul, inhaul and bulkhead to the main, as well as inhaul to the genoa) - A weight (for example a plate anchor) on a throw block or shackle to lower along the anchor line in the stern would make it safer in natural harbors in the outer archipelago, where the anchor bottom is often poor. (You lower the weight along the anchor line with a soft line. You lower it to the bottom, but then pull it up a little bit. This makes the pull parallel to the bottom) Thanks Vasse!
