Sometimes the boat is already rented for 3 hours, but the rest of the day is still available. Prices Most people rent the boat for 2 or 3 hours: both are enough for any canal tour. Prices: (I will adjust these during the reservation) 2 hours: €75 3 hours: €95 4 hours: €112 5 hours: €126 6 hours: €138 8-14 hours (full day): €175 (battery swap required: 5-8 hours of sailing time per battery) Electric Silent Boat This super-quiet electric boat is ideal for 4-12 people and is located 5 minutes from the canals at Jutfaseweg 30. Thanks to the 4.4 hp whisper-quiet motor (max 6 km/h) and new waterproof cushions, it is comfortable and perfect for a canal tour. The two benches seat 5 people each; 11-12 is possible, but there will be less space. With three batteries, you can sail for 16 hours at 70% or 6 hours non-stop. The batteries are very easy and safe to use. Bimini Top The boat also has a bimini top (canopy, see photos), which is usually removed in sunny weather. Under the canopy, 8 people can sit dry, while the front is always in the sun. The bimini top is very easy to set up or remove in just 1 minute. Included The boat comes with a small Bluetooth speaker with a power bank, sailing maps (canals, city center, and Amelisweerd), cushions, a charged battery, instructions in Dutch or English, ropes for mooring, trash bags, and a top light for sailing in the dark (only for canals/city center). Safety There is 1 life jacket on board by default; for young children, I have free kids' swim vests; please mention this in your message :) The boat is relatively easy to steer thanks to the electric motor; upon request, I can usually skipper, but experience shows that this is rarely necessary. Discount for Longer Rentals in March-June On weekdays (excluding holidays), always get 4.5 hours for the price of 3 hours! On weekdays, get the full day for the price of 4 hours. On weekends, you can rent the 9:30-14:00 shift or the 16:00-21:00 shift for the price of 3 hours! Send a message for this, and I will adjust the price! On Sundays, parking is free, and you can safely lock your bikes 20 meters away. For food or drinks, Albert Heijn Vondellaan and Domino’s Rijnlaan are just 100 meters away. Routes A canal/singel tour takes 1:40-1:50 hours, so 2 hours is enough. To Amelisweerd (pancake house) it’s 1:20 hours one way and 2:40 hours round trip; for a picnic there, I recommend 4 or 5 hours. The Munt round trip takes 1:45 hours, and Op Zuid, Triton, or Orca is 15-20 minutes of sailing. You can moor almost anywhere with ropes and a pin, except on the Oudegracht, such as at Lepelenburg, De Munt, or Weerdsluis. Cancellation/Rescheduling In case of very bad weather, rescheduling the boat trip is always possible. Very nice experience and great little boat for the canals. Thomas was very helpful and flexible during the whole process.
This boat was such a perfect last minute find, I was able to book the night before in a perfect timeslot for 6 people at a very reasonable price. The location was perfect for a short scenic tour down the oudegracht. Highly recommend.

Loved our boat ride! Thomas was easy to communicate with and the boat was super cute.
Thomas was great, made sure we had everything and even though the previous renters were delayed, he solved it as best as possible. Seeing the city at night from the water was something else, would highly recommend and hope to rent from Thomas again sometime :)

Great boat, well located close to the historic city center of Utrecht and nature (Kromme Rijn). Boat was clean except for the floor that could have been cleaner. Furthermore, the helmsman's chair has little legroom. But these are details and the overall experience was excellent!
Something went wrong with the reservation but that was resolved well. We had a great time sailing on this boat. Cushions, table, box and you could even charge your phone! Sailing routes included. We will book this boat again next year!
Nice boat to sail with for a while! It is not super big, but certainly sufficient for 4-6 people. Also electric, so sails pleasantly/quietly.

great contact and reception, boat was smaller than it seems in the picture, big enough for 3-4 pax. we came back a bit later, due to bad luck on the way, but Thomas didn't make a big deal of it.

Nixce experience
Thomas responds quickly and correctly. Nice trip through the canals of the city center of Utrecht. Due to a defect, the boat's engine could not sail in reverse and only on 1 setting. He will fix this ASAP. You can rent Thomas' boat with peace of mind!

Had a nice boat trip, but it is certainly not an 8 person sloop, more like 4-5 people. The whole of Utrecht was watching us almost make water with 8 big guys.
