1976 is a decisive year for the already renowned construction company Beneteau. In partnership, for the first time, with a naval architect outside the company, the Beneteau First model is launched. Everything is rethought: the previous design and even the shape of the ceiling. The result? The model is elected in 1978 boat of the year!
Innovation and quality have always been values upheld by Beneteau. 30 years later, Juan Kouyoumdjian is responsible for adapting the model to modern times, named First 30. With a length of 9.3 meters, this sailboat can be adapted for one or two cabins and can accommodate 4 to 8 passengers .
On the outside of this sailboat, the design of the sails is very reminiscent of its ancestor, the reference base for all subsequent models in the First fleet. Inside, the evolution of the design allows a better use of space. The heart of the chamber is the center folding table, located in the corridor leading to the main cabin(s).
