SATURDAY Your vacation starts!! After welcoming you on board, together with a good glass of wine and some local snacks, you will settle into your cabins which are located at the stern of the boat. Two comfortable cabins, each with their own bathrooms. During the welcome drink, we will discuss the week's program and will brief you on safety, rules about life on board, Being a sailing school, made to teach you the basics of sailing and sea, I will explain how the days will unfold, understanding with you your curiosities, so as to best adapt the program to make you learn, in a week, the rudiments of sailing. The first evening we will have dinner in one of the restaurants on the island of Lipari and it will be an opportunity to start discovering the towns with your travel companions. SUNDAY After breakfast, let's set sail! Usually by 9.00 / 9.30 we finally take off to the sea and I will show you the maneuvers to release the moorings, and immediately after- the maneuvers to hoist the sails. Once we have set sail, I will explain the priorities at sea, the overview of the route and how to monitor the dangers during navigation. All with extreme safety and relaxation. FIRST STOP: the island of Vulcano on the side of the island overlooking main land Sicily, the southern part. We will arrive in the small Baia dell'Asino, where between crystal clear water and a small black sand beach of volcanic origin, I will teach you anchoring maneuvers and logic. After lunch we will head to two other beautiful spots on the island, La Grotta del Cavallo e di Venere, a fantastic swim awaits you. Here too, given the narrowness of the bay, I will teach those on board how to steer the motor boat in narrow waters. We will then head to our next destination - Le Spiagge Nere where we will drop anchor for the night. To see and do: The crater of the volcano, stroll through the narrow streets of the village. MONDAY After breakfast, we expect to travel 20 miles (about 4 hours) of navigation towards the island of Filicudi. We will break the navigation by stopping for a swim in a bay, in Lipari on its west side, or on the south of Salina. So from a learning point of view, again hoisting sails, adjusting sails, anchoring and un-anchoring. In Filicudi we will go around “the Canna'', a monolith of about 70 meters that comes out of the blue sea. During the summer season, this is also where Queen Falcons build their nests and where a very rare lizard lives, lucertola nera. Next, we will visit the Grotta del Bue Marino. Our day will end in Pecorini mare, a small village in the southwest of the island which, after sunset, it is covered with magic. To see and do: watch the sunset from a terrace above the seaside village of Pecorini, perhaps with a beer in hand. Have an aperitif in Pecorini and enjoy the magical atmosphere it has in the hours of sunset and early evening. TUESDAY Route to the Island of Salina. First stop in the small Bay of Pollara, created by the collapse of one of the island's large craters. I'll show you how well you can still see the crater. After an early lunch, going around the island, we will reach Santa Marina di Salina, Here I highly recommend you to have a tasting of wines and local products at Hauner and dine ashore at Nni Lausta,. Otherwise, there is the special aperitif in Pollara, to enjoy a fantastic sunset and then have dinner in a small kiosk. In Pollara you can go with an electric Apecar, modified to be a Taxi. To see and do: the village of Santa Marina Salina, dinner at Nni Lausta or Portobello, the village of Lingua - a 20-minute walk from Santa Marina, but there is a free taxi service - to taste the famous granita of da Alfredo, or dine there - Pane Cunzato (open sandwich) is recommended,. WEDNESDAY After breakfast we set sail for Panarea, we will arrive after about two hours of navigation and again you will be taught new sailing tricks. We will work through some anchor points depending on the sea conditions. We will anchor in front of Cala Junco and / or Cala Milazzese there are archaeological remains of the only Paleolithic village of the islands. In the evening we will attach to one of the buoys. Dinner on the boat or on land according to everyone's preferences. For those who want to go ashore, taking advantage of the (free) taxi boat service 24/7, To see and do: Panarea village, aperitif at the Raya, Dinner at Adelina or at Cusiritati, visit the archaeological village. THURSDAY Around 9.00 / 9.30 we will sail to discover the islets near Panarea, which are Basiluzzo, Lisca Nera, Lisca Bianca, Bottaro and Dattilo. Here, in addition to anchoring/un-anchoring, sailing or motor navigation, you will have the opportunity to snorkel and discover the Bubbles of air of Lisca Bianca (real small underwater geysers.) After lunch we will set sail for Stromboli, or IDDU (this is what the inhabitants of Stromboli call the volcano). It is 900 meters high and has constant eruptions (known to the world as Strombolian activity) which can be seen during the day, but one can really it’s real beauty at night. The eruptions of Stromboli fall on the Sciara del Fuoco, a totally uninhabited side with a lunar landscape, north of the island. We will sleep at the buoy and you will go ashore with a taxi boat service included and active until 11.45pm. If you miss the last water taxi that you will have to come back ….. swimming! Dinner ashore is passionately recommended at the Ristorante Pizzeria Osservatorio, from where you can enjoy the sunset and the red flames of the eruptions, an absolutely unique spectacle in the whole Mediterranean. To see and do: the town of Stromboli and its narrow streets, which do not have public lighting at night and create a very special atmosphere, FRIDAY Day of return, but you will be so full of everything you have learned and experienced that there will be no room for sadness on the last day. We will set sail for Lipari after having toured around the island of Stromboli and having looked at the Sciara del fuoco from the sea. We will set the course towards the baia delle Pomici, where turquoise water awaits us. Its color depends on the presence of pumice sand We will have a leisurely lunch and at arounf 4.00 pm. we head the harbour for docking. To do and see: discover the streets of the town and in particular of the fishing village of Marina Corta, Visit the Aeolian archaeological museum and discover the historical wealth of the Aeolian Islands, The program is not fixed as the weather conditions of the sea and the wind are essential determinants for the safety of navigation, as well as the pleasure and safety of the week and the les
