Boat rental in Dubrovnik · Traditional Boat — Pasara 490 (2005)

We hired Pasko's boat for a most enjoyable day on 3rd Oct 2023. Tom met us showed us where we could park our car and gave us a complete run down and checked we were familiar with everything before leaving us to enjoy the day. The sad part came when on using the ladder on the second occasion one of the plastic stand offs for the ladder broke (end of a hot season and plastic was brittle, we tried to finish our day with one standoff balanced on a docking buoy at the other side. However the other side also broke off as equally brittle.) On returning I informed Tom and offered to pay for 2 replacement plastic stand offs regardless of their brittleness due to sun exposure. (Cost on-line for next day delivery is £16.75) At this point Tom made a phone call and then said "you can not buy replacements you must pay for a full ladder replacement" which he charged at 100 Euros (on-line the same 2 step plastic product sells for 40 to 59 euros) I feel this was totally unacceptable and although Pasko communicated well and Tom was an excellent host to charge 100 euros for two plastic standoff's that are made as screw on replacement fittings is outrageous so I can in no way recommend hiring from them. If you do decide be warned. We were ever so careful and it still cost us £127 plus £100!!!! We went with a different company in Montenegro 2 days later and they confirmed that all there ladders where aluminum or stainless on the larger boats and that plastic stand offs are not suitable for a hire boat that is used in plus 25 degree heat all season. Tom said it was their first season hiring out and although he was a very fine young man himself if that is the 'company policy' i would hope 'Click& Boat' will NOT continue to promote them. Tourist go where the good reviews are and not where 100 Euro bills await them for using the boat carefully and exactly as instructed.

Ended up with a different boat which was very similar to that which we booked and all good. Great cover from the sun, snorkels, masks and cold box. Don’t expect to go anywhere fast and be prepared … 2 stroke engines are not the quickest or quietest! Pasko was great / communication and instruction. Thanks

Pasko was brilliant and very helpful- we were 1st timers- boat very easy to operate- we headed to the green cave to stop and swim then stopped on lopud island - Sunji beach absolutely lovely worth the day and money

We’ve had great fun! Pasko was very kind and helped us a lot and was available at any time! He thought of everything on the boat, even masks to swim with ;) He gave us very good recommendations and was so relaxed. The boat trip was amazing! A “must do” in Dubrovnik :)
