Please note we can't go to Benagil cave. To rent our boats, the nominated skipper must have previous EXPERIENCE and the relevant NAVIGATION LICENSE. The Authorized Navigation Area is only inside the Ria Formosa lagoon and exit to the Ocean is NOT ALLOWED. The briefing will be only made in English or Portuguese. Please make sure someone from the group is able to understand and translate the informations given. You will be able to go to the best desert beaches and some of the best secret spots, while you enjoy all the luxury aboard our boats. Rentals are available at the Ria Formosa Natural Park with departure from Faro. Ria Formosa Natural Park provides the most pleasant boat experience with the most beautiful views in Algarve and the best and large sheltered water plan to rest and to forget about your daily routine. Boat: Pioner Viking Engine: 40hp 4 strokes - New Engine 2022 Capacity: 5 people # No be noticed: • Skipper License Mandatory • Passport or any official document is required on check-in; • Damage deposit - 1.000€ • Food & drinks are not included on the prices; • Not wheelchair accessible; • This experience requires good weather. It may be canceled due to poor weather; • What to bring We recommend comfortable clothes, sports shoes and, for sunset tours, warmer clothes, although most of the nights are relatively warm. Maria made us feel very welcome, explained everything clearly and gave us plenty of good tips as to where we might go, eat, and explore. The Ria Formosa is beautiful. You need basic navigation skills to navigate it, avoid its sandbanks and work with the tides. The boat is basic but sturdy, comfortable and well maintained.
Easy to book and collect boat. Fun family day out will book with Maria and Bruno again.

Excellent experience renting this boat, first time from Faro and the whole process was super quick and easy, Bruno was massively accommodating even offering to fuel up after we had left as we had a small baby with us. We will definitely be renting again.

Hired a Viking Pioner from Faro Marina. Top experience all round - Bruno is an absolute gent, extremely friendly and helpful. Boat/engine in excellent condition, no issues at all on that score. Bruno provided useful information to help us get the most out of our day and was always a phone call away! Faro lagoon is brilliant, much more fun than simply chugging away on open sea, not difficult to navigate but you need to keep an eye out for sandbanks, loads of secluded beaches to pull up at - like being on a tropical island! 100% recommend this area.
