Peaceful and beautiful location with many possibilities towards either north or south, just need to pay attention to depth in the GPS to avoid problems. In four days we saw dolphins in three occasions which is outstanding, one of the times they were swimming with us for a couple of minutes.

Renting a boat with or without a skipper

There are two main options when it comes to yacht charter in Oristano: with or without a skipper. Both have their own perks, and it really depends on what you're looking for in a charter experience. Here's a quick rundown of the pros and cons of each option:

Renting with a skipper:

  • You can relax and enjoy the ride while someone else takes care of the navigation and sailing.
  • A skipper usually has local knowledge of the best spots to anchor, moor, and explore, so you can make the most of your time on the water.
  • You'll have peace of mind knowing that there's someone onboard who knows how to handle the boat in case of an emergency.

Bareboat charter:

  • You'll have complete freedom to explore at your own pace and make decisions about where to go and when.
  • You'll save money by not having to pay for a skipper's fees.
  • You'll get a chance to learn new skills and build your confidence as a sailor.

What boat should I rent?
