Renting a boat in the Veneto region is a unique experience that will allow you to have an exceptional holiday. Located in northeastern Italy, Veneto stretches from the Dolomites to the Adriatic Sea and is made up of countless rivers and hills that run through the area. It is a lagoon in the middle of which lies the splendid city of Venice, a place steeped in history and visited every year by thousands of tourists for its numerous attractions.
Venice is a historic center with the most famous works of art in the world, which has won the hearts of tourists from all over the world with its canals that crisscross the city and the magnificent European-Byzantine style of St. Mark's Square.
Renting a catamaran, motorboat or sailboat in Veneto is ideal given the numerous well-equipped ports. You can enjoy a vacation full of nature, enjoyment and fun with family and friends. Discover the Veneto with us!
The landscape of Veneto is dominated by the Dolomites, a mountain range of indescribable beauty. In the Venetian central plain, on the other hand, there are the Euganean Hills, an impressive bas-relief of volcanic origin that should not be missed.
In the hinterland of Veneto there are some famous places to visit, such as Castelfranco Veneto, a municipality in the province of Treviso where the Casa Giorgione museum has several exhibitions. In the northwest of this municipality lies the town of Bassano del Grappa, the world capital of the Alpini, after whom the Ponte Vecchio in this municipality in the province of Vicenza is named. It is precisely in these areas that the people of Veneto are known for their hospitality.
Typical dishes in the Venice region include various versions of bigoli or spaghetti, often served in sauce and with duck, risotto and the ubiquitous Venetian polenta. The most popular places to enjoy these dishes include Antica Osteria Ruga Rialto and Tavernetta San Maurizio.
In the capital, don't miss out on trying a Spritz - an inimitable local alcoholic drink consisting of Aperol or Campari (depending on your taste), Prosecco and a splash of soda. Some of the most famous places where you can enjoy this drink are the Osteria della Bifora and the Taverna del Campiello Remer.
Sailing in Veneto is exceptional as the region is rich in natural landscapes. The so-called Litoranea Veneta consists of various rivers and lagoons, including Caorle, Marano and Grado, and stretches for 58 km, which can also be navigated in Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
There are also several canals to navigate, including the Nicesolo Canal, which allows you to explore the eastern part of Caorle and the adjacent beaches. Other places that can be reached along this magnificent canal are Bibione and its famous Faro. Other historic seaside resorts that have made the Veneto region famous for its great summer offerings include Jesolo and Cavallino; magnificent places with a well-developed tourism culture.
You can also rent a boat on Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy and well equipped to welcome tourists from all over the world. Take a look at our offers for the different types of boats available.
Prices for renting a boat in Veneto vary depending on high and low seasons and depending on the type of boat you are interested in.
Price may change depending on demand and availability during the period in which you make your booking. Our offer includes the option of chartering with or without a skipper and with or without a driving license, depending on the boat. A license is not required for boats less than 10 meters long and less than 6 miles from shore. The boats may only be driven by people over 18 years old.
The best time to plan a holiday in Veneto is between April and September. In the spring months the climate is mild and in summer you have the opportunity to practice various sports activities. You should also extend your stay to the first Sunday in September, known for its historic regatta.
If, on the other hand, you are interested in cultural events, we recommend February and March for the famous Carnival or from June to November for the Venice Art Biennale.
