Gais is an efficient charter managed locally by sea professionals. Nothing to chance. The port of Palermo is a bit chaotic but you can stay there for one night. Dufour 39 perfect for 2 weeks for 5 people, comfortable, maneuverable at mooring, light on the bow wave but no one expects to do the Sydney-Hobart with a similar boat. 7 knots abeam with 17 knots, 50-40 degrees heading without foiling. 2 infinite water tanks, with 3 women on board I never needed to port. Panda diesel engine consumption. A cameo in the stern is the grill on which to cook swordfish and tuna or the catch of the day.
