Hello and welcome to Occitanie, in the South of France. I offer you my 2021 open hull boat for rent. If you want to discover our magnificent region with family, friends or for a particular event, you have just found the ideal companion! The boat is very clean and equiped with a reliable and discrete Mercury engine. Perfect for families with young children, thanks to its deep edges. If you wish, we can advise you on navigation routes, but you are of course free to define the latter as you wish. Unfortunately, the outing did not go very well. We found ourselves stuck on the way back from Ste Marie de la Mer because of the faulty depth sounder and GPS. We managed to save the boat which was threatening to drift on a dike thanks to our experience and this at the cost of a lot of effort against unfavorable winds, but we had to wait almost 3 hours before being rescued! We had had good contact with Adel in the morning, but his almost new boat is really not yet ready: It started with the bimini (not deployed) which broke at one of its two fixings after 20 minutes, hindering good circulation on board. In addition, I add that the description given in the advertisement is incorrect: Do not count on the cooler, the seabob or other kneeboard although announced included. I have more than 20 years of experience sailing on much more perilous seas (Corsica, Antilles, etc.) with significant pitfalls and I must regretfully say that this was my most disastrous outing.
