Booking this boat is a must! We were a group of 15 and it was fabulous! Sallassie was a perfect captain. Will definitely rent again. Little mix up on the food but he offered to make it right.

This was an absolute amazing charter from start to finish! It was the perfect charter for myself and my 17 family members. The boat was very clean and spacious and the crew was extremely polite. They took us all around the island and fixed us snacks and rum punch throughout the trip. Would 100% recommend!

I had an amazing experience during the holidays with this rental service. The crew was exceptional, attending to every detail, guiding us through all the amazing sights, and maintaining utmost professionalism throughout. Their dedication truly shone when, despite unfavorable weather initially preventing us from snorkeling, they eagerly arranged an additional outing the next day specifically for us to enjoy some snorkeling. It was a truly fantastic experience that I highly recommend to everyone!

Wow! What an amazing boat and hospitable captain! We were greeted at the dock with Prosecco and snacks and enjoyed a cruise to a remote beach. Snorkel gear was provided last minute as a nice surprise. Also, the sound system is amazing! Book this boat you won’t regret it. Thank you Benoit!!!

What can you see/do in Turks and Caicos?

The stunning white sand beaches, crystal clear blue waters, and vibrant coral reefs make the Turks and Caicos one of the most desirable holiday destinations in the world.

When you charter a yacht in the Turks and Caicos, you’ll have access to some of the world’s best snorkeling and diving spots. You can explore the vibrant coral reefs and discover an array of exotic sea life including turtles, stingrays, eels, and more. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even swim with dolphins or go on a shark dive. There are plenty of opportunities to go fishing too – from deep-sea fishing to reef fishing.

The Turks and Caicos Islands are also home to some magnificent beaches where you can relax with your family or friends. There are plenty of beach bars, restaurants, and resorts here, so you can take a break from your sailing activities. You can also explore the lush green hillsides or take part in activities such as kayaking, paddle boarding, or windsurfing.

If culture is more your thing then you’ll love visiting one of the local villages where you can get an insight into traditional life on these islands. Here you can sample delicious local dishes prepared by expert chefs who have been cooking them for generations.

Renting a boat with or without a skipper

Renting a boat with a captain has many perks. You don’t need any prior sailing experience or qualifications. The skipper will take care of all the sailing for you, so you can just sit back and relax. They also know the local waters like the back of their hand, so they can take you to all the best spots.

Of course, there are also some advantages to renting a boat without a captain. It’s usually cheaper than renting with a skipper. And it gives you the freedom to explore the islands at your own pace. If you’re an experienced sailor, then going on a bareboat charter is the way to go.

What boat should I rent?

When deciding which type of vessel is best to rent for a sailing vacation in the Turks and Caicos, it depends on your individual needs. For those looking for luxury and space, a yacht charter is ideal. Yachts come in various sizes and can accommodate groups of two to dozens of passengers. Depending on the size chosen, amenities may include a full kitchen, multiple bathrooms, hot tubs, living areas with ample seating, and bedrooms with en suite bathrooms.

For those who plan to explore more of the islands, catamarans are an excellent choice. Catamarans are great for sailing between islands as they offer stability, speed, and maneuverability while consuming less fuel than larger vessels.

Sailboats are another option for travelers who want a more traditional sailing experience. Sailboats tend to be smaller than yachts or catamarans but provide enough room for short trips between islands.

Motorboats provide faster speeds which allow you to reach multiple destinations on the same day without having to worry about wind or sails. They also provide more protection from windy conditions as they come equipped with windshields and cabins that can be closed off when needed.

When is the best time to go?

The best time to go sailing in Turks and Caicos is during the winter months of December and January. Temperatures typically range from 75-85 degrees Fahrenheit, which makes it warm enough to enjoy the sun without being uncomfortably hot. The winds are also great for sailing during these months, typically averaging around 10 knots with occasional gusts up to 20 knots.
