Definitely would recommend going to Long Island, Round Island, and St Anne. Make sure to go to Long Island and round Island during low tide. Do 5 hours instead of 4. You can ask Dominique to extend the hour and pay a little bit more. Go to the private Island in St Anne.

The trip was organised perfectly! There was nothing we hat to take care of. The skipper took us to a few small islands just ogg the coast if Victoria. The snorkelling places there are fabulous - we even saw some reef sharks while snorkelling. There was plenty to do in that area!

The Seychelles is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Golden beaches and crystal clear water, friendly locals, great food. We've been lucky to explore many parts of the world, but there is nowhere quite like the Seychelles. Mahe is a wonderful island, but make sure to head to La Digue for the most stunning beaches.

Experience the magic of Seychelles from the deck of your own catamaran during your next charter vacation!

Why rent a catamaran?

One of the remarkable features of a catamaran is its expansive living spaces. Imagine having ample room to move around, relax, and enjoy indoor and outdoor living. From cozy cabins to a sun-kissed deck, a catamaran is like a floating home that offers both privacy and communal areas, making it perfect for families, friends, or couples seeking a romantic escape.

And shallow water is no problem for a catamaran! Its twin hulls allow it to navigate even the shallowest of waters, opening up a world of hidden coves and pristine beaches that larger boats can't access.

How much does it cost to rent a catamaran in Seychelles?

A catamaran charter in Seychelles starts from $200 per day and goes up to $2,500 or more per day for a luxury catamaran yacht charter. The price will depend on the size and capacity of the catamaran, the season you plan to go, the age and make of the boat, and more.

There may be additional fees depending on the experience you wish to create, such as if you choose to rent with a skipper, rent water toys, or more.

A catamaran charter can be perfect for small groups or couples or for larger groups of 10 and more, depending on the size of your charter. With Click&Boat you can receive your own personal advisor who will help you find the perfect catamaran!

When is the best time to go?

From November to March, Seychelles experiences its wet season, with occasional showers that enhance the lush beauty of the islands. With temperatures ranging from 75°F to 86°F, this period offers a comfortable escape from the winter chills. Dive into the inviting waters, explore hidden coves, and snorkel with the stunning marine life that thrives during these months.

On the other hand, May to September is the dry season, with idyllic sailing conditions and balmy temperatures averaging between 73°F and 82°F. During this time, the trade winds, gentle seas, and sunshine create the ideal sailing conditions. Whether you're seeking a winter retreat or a summer escape, Seychelles is the best location for a one-of-a-kind sailing vacation.

Where to sail to in Seychelles

Prepare to take an unforgettable trip as you sail to the beautiful destinations in Seychelles. Each stop on your catamaran journey promises a unique blend of natural beauty, cultural richness, and lush landscapes. Here are a few of our favorite destinations to sail to:

  • Mahé: The largest island in Seychelles, Mahé is filled with lush hills, pristine beaches, and vibrant markets. Drop anchor at Beau Vallon Bay, where you can indulge in water sports or simply unwind on the powdery sands. Don't miss a chance to explore Victoria, the capital city, and immerse yourself in the island's culture.
  • Praslin: This island is home to the famous Vallée de Mai, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you can spot the rare coco de mer palm. Anse Lazio, one of the world's most beautiful beaches, can also be found here. The crystal clear waters offer some of the best snorkeling in Seychelles.
  • La Digue: La Digue has a timeless charm and stunning granite rock formations. Anchor at Anse Source d'Argent, where you can explore the granite rocks on the beach. Rent a bicycle to explore the island's intimate beauty at your own pace.
  • Curieuse Island: This national marine park is a sanctuary for giant tortoises and exotic birds. As you stroll along the red-earthed trails, you'll have a chance to spot these creatures. The underwater world is equally captivating, making it a prime spot for snorkeling and diving.
  • Cousin Island: A protected nature reserve, Cousin Island is a haven for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts. Immerse yourself in the diverse ecosystem as you spot rare species and witness nesting seabirds.

Rent with or without a skipper

You can choose to rent a crewed catamaran with a skipper who knows the ins and outs of the Seychelles waters. Your skipper becomes your personal guide, steering you to the best spots, sharing local insights, and handling all the nautical know-how. All you have to do is simply relax and soak up the beauty around you.

But if you're feeling a bit more adventurous and confident, you can opt to rent without a skipper. This gives you the freedom to be the captain of your own ship, charting your course and setting sail according to your whims. It's an opportunity to test your sailing skills and sail at your own pace

What can you see and do in Seychelles?

  • Dive into crystal-clear waters to witness coral reefs, marine life, and underwater wonders that will leave you breathless.
  • Bask on powdery white sands, swim in warm turquoise waters, and soak up the sun at world-renowned beaches like Anse Intendance and Anse Lazio.
  • Explore lush landscapes and nature trails in Vallée de Mai and Morne Seychellois National Park, home to unique flora and fauna.
  • Set sail to neighboring islands like La Digue and Praslin to experience diverse cultures, stunning beaches, and local delicacies.
  • Get up close and personal with giant tortoises at Curieuse Island and Aldabra Atoll, where these creatures roam freely.
  • Discover the Seychellois way of life through visits to markets, art galleries, and Creole heritage sites.

The harbors in Seychelles

Here are some of the best anchorages in Seychelles:

  • Port Victoria (Mahé): The capital city's harbor welcomes you with its vibrant atmosphere and colorful markets. Discover a fusion of cultures as you explore local shops, indulge in authentic cuisine, and catch a glimpse of daily life on the island.
  • Baie Sainte Anne (Praslin): A tranquil haven on the second-largest island, Baie Sainte Anne's harbor offers easy access to the Vallée de Mai and Anse Lazio. Dock here to immerse yourself in Praslin's natural wonders and the warm hospitality of its people.
  • La Digue Marina: This quaint harbor introduces you to the laid-back charm of La Digue. As you step ashore, you'll be greeted by traditional ox carts and bicycles – the primary modes of transportation on the island. Explore the rustic beauty of La Digue, from its stunning beaches to its granite rock formations.
  • Eden Island Marina (Mahé): An epitome of luxury, Eden Island Marina presents a modern contrast to Seychelles' natural beauty. Indulge in upscale amenities, waterfront dining, and upscale boutiques at this exclusive marina.
