Grou is a very nice town. There are enough beautiful views of buildings, channels and boats.
The restaurants are good, sea food and traditional Holland herrings. There is a possibility to rent a sail or motor boat and spend a few days going though channels and lakes.
We can only advise to visit it.

very good communication. Boat offers enough storage space for picnics. We were four adults and two children (3 years old) and spent seven hours on the water.
According to GPS 11km/h (completely sufficient). You get used to the controls relatively quickly. None of us have any experience with boats.
recommendation 100%.

Rik was a great captain and host. Boat is beautiful as promised on the pictures. He is friendly, great in communicating and helpful on board. We visited beautiful canals, went for a swim in amstel river and stopped on the way for drinks and snacks. Rik is flexible, takes all wishes seriously and makes sure you have a great time. It is obvious that it is important to him that you really enjoy yourselves. Thank you Rik we had a blast!

It was a pleasure to work with Diane. Communication was incredibly easy, her and her company were lovely people and you can tell they know their way around a boat. I would rent out my boat to Diane again without hesitation.

We rented this boat for 5 hours and had the best experience ever. The boat was very easy to drive and very clean. Definitely recommended!

Pieter, was extremely helpful and understanding. Though the boat is a little older we still enjoyed her immensely. She had a cosy interior, good sailing performance and a strong engine which we valued in our force 5-6 conditions. Would definitely rent again!
