Day 1: Thilia Island - unspectacular, mooring at Sivota. A very protected, friendly and alive little harbour - recommended at that time of the year.
Day2: Swimming at Ai Giannis on Atakos Island with pigs at the shore. Lovely place although a bit busy at times. Anchoring in the Vathy bay on Ithaka. A rather noisy place even when anchoring in the middle of the bay. Town not too impressive.
Day 3: Visiting the NW beaches of Ithaka - very beautiful spots. The winds got quite powerful in the evening and significant waves. Mooring in Ag. Effimia on Kephalonia. Great place for breakfast: Café Dodoni.
Day 4: Visiting Kalamos Island w. Porto Leon (nice quiet anchor bay with an abandoned village - very worth the visit) and mooring in Kalamos Port. Busy and tricky place to enter and moor with rocks at the entrance and at the quay wall. Expect entangled anchor chains! Food at George's taverna rather disappointing. Had a nice late evening walk through the village that is also to 90% abandoned.
Day 5: All around Meganisi Island, visiting the caves & swimming at some very picturesque beaches, mooring at a public spot at Vathy Bay (in front of the fisherman's house on the NE side of the bay, opposite of the marina. (No water or power connections there. We planned to stay at the Odysea Marina but they asked 100 EUR for a place outside the quay, which I thankfully declined.)
Day 6: Checking out some beaches on the E side of Lafkada and the Kennedy Beach on Skorpios (The last mentioned is not too impressive). Back to D-Marina in Lefkas.

Lovely little island, hire a car and go and explore up in the mountains. Also the kitesurfing is great!

Next time I recommend him to rent a yacht up to five years old with a skipper to have a good vacation

Out of this continent views, the crystal clear water and the mountain in a one of a kind combination. I totally recommend it! Don't hesitate to visit as many beaches as you can, for sunsets you will find a lot of wonderful sites and even some taverns on top of the mountain with some excellent food and view.

it's very nice in Lefkada nice marina and all other things from there. You can find very good taverna for eating something good. The beach resorts are looking good and you can practice windsurf and other nautical sports there. I'm waiting next year to go back in Lefkada and rent again an boat.

Lefkada was an island that needed more than a few days to be visited. We had the opportunity to visit the Egremni Beach and Porto Katsiki. For the ones that prefer a quieter trip try and do East of the Island as less waves. It is a really nice Island.

This is a great sailing location, Wyeth sheltered conditions to the east of the island and more exposed waters to the west. A bustling town centre that comes alive during the evenings with shops, bars and restaurants. There are some lovely villages nearby, the best being Nikitas, about 10km along the coast.

Excellent sailing characteristics. The windows of the spray hood and the bimini need replacement because impossible to look through. For the rest everything in fine condition.

Mihail was an excellent host, he has taken care of his older boat very well and honestly we did not feel it was a 20 year old boat. He is a very pleasant man, and very calm, and made our charter experience that much better. We will be back to charter Martha in the future. Thanks Mihail.

We had an amazing 7-day sailing experience. The boat was in perfect condition and everything was well-maintained. The owner was incredibly helpful, providing us with all the information we needed before setting sail. It was a nice and relaxing journey.

He took us to some of the most stunning, hidden beaches we’ve ever seen – secluded spots with crystal-clear waters and breathtaking views that felt like our own private paradise. A fantastic day’s hire, very friendly and welcoming. The private car park just around the corner was also v helpful. We would definitely rent with them again.
The only thing I think could be improved on communication is more thorough guidance on anchoring (eg read direction of wind & tide & importance of length of line). I think we got ‘simplified’ instructions as a first time user so had a bit of trial and error. Not a big deal but would suggest covering a bit more broadly when they take you through it.
Overall, great hire, lovely people to deal with and will go back again
