All around the island of Capri from sorrento back and forth. If you want to visit the island and walk around I suggest to rent the boat for the full day so you can have enough time to visit all the spot around the island that need a boat and then get off and walk eat and shop

Everyone was so nice, good communication all the time, they gave us the option to change the itinerary because of the bad weather. Roberto was a great boat captain, he gave us all the information about Capri and recommended us where to eat. He took a lot of photos and videos of us, for us 👌🏼

It was my birthday. We spent the day together with my wife on board this ship. The ship was exactly as described in the description. Captain Marco was polite, friendly, and sociable. There was everything we needed on board, including towels, beer, prosecco, aperol, cola, and water. There were also small swimming accessories. We traveled from Amalfi to Positano and then continued to Minori. During the trip, we were told about the Amalfi Coast and had stops for sunbathing and swimming. The captain also suggested stopping for lunch at a beach restaurant, but we decided to stay on board and swim. The only thing missing was some light snacks. Overall, I would say that it was a wonderful and unforgettable day for me. I would definitely recommend this company. Thank you.

We had a great time, 100% recommended. Marco the skipper was also great - he knows the area very well and took us to all the spots we wanted to see!

Sailboat or Catamaran Cruises in Capri: Sail in Style

Capri is the perfect place to go for a cruise in a catamaran or sailboat, situated in the Italian region of Campania, not far from other coastal cities and towns such as Naples, Positano, and Sorrento. Whether you want to visit the breathtaking beaches or marvel at the island’s rich culture, you are sure to be thrilled. Spend time bathing in the sparkling waters or wander around sites of great historical importance. No matter where you set sail from here, you will find something to interest everyone in your party so don’t hesitate to book up your cruise in Capri right away.

Get ready to make some memories with family and friends on your cruise in Capri

No matter who you visit Capri with for your cruise in a sailboat or catamaran, you’re bound to have a good time, so why not set off on a nautical adventure with family and friends. There are a plethora of different activities to do while there, from lounging around on the breathtaking beaches to city tours and shopping, to water sports. If you’re feeling especially adventurous, you can even dive into the depths of a unique underwater utopia, with a scuba diving or snorkelling expedition. If you’re travelling with young kids, you can add some inflatable toys to your boat charter so that they can splash around in the water with things to amuse themselves. You can even bring board games and toys on your cruise in Capri if you plan on doing a lot of sailing in deeper waters where they won’t be safe swimming. No matter what you plan on doing though, and who you plan on doing it with, you are guaranteed to have a trip full of memories that you’ll keep for a lifetime.

Is it better to go on a Caprese cruise in a sailboat or catamaran?

A cruise in either a catamaran or sailboat is sure to be spectacular, but it is true that both boats are more suited to different types of boating excursions. A cruise in a sailboat, for example, will provide you with a more authentic sailing experience, where you really get to feel the rhythm of the waves. They are also slightly faster than catamarans and also much less expensive. Not only do they use less fuel, but they also require less docking space in marinas due to their single-hull structure.

A cruise in a catamaran, on the other hand, is synonymous with luxury. The double-hull structure of a catamaran means both that there is more space on board, and more stability. The enhanced stability means that there is a reduced risk of seasickness. They are also able to reach shallower waters than sailboats, meaning that you will be able to visit even more areas. The only drawback of setting sail in a catamaran is that they are more expensive.

Set sail with a skipper and crew for the ultimate relaxation during your cruise in Capri

Although there are bareboat charters available for your cruise in Capri provided you are in possession of the appropriate licence, we thoroughly recommend renting with a skipper. Even if you have a lot of sailing experience, you can learn a lot from a skipper, who will have an intimate knowledge of the area and thus can guide you to all the best places. If you want a really relaxing trip though, you should set sail with a full crew, which will usually consist of a chef, a hostess, and a couple of deckhands. The crew will make sure that you want for nothing throughout your trip by doing all the general chores for you and leaving you free to simply sit back, relax, and enjoy your trip. A crewed cruise in Capri really is an experience designed for comfort and luxury.

When is the best time to set sail for a cruise in Capri?

You will find especially favourable weather conditions for a cruise in a catamaran or sailboat in Capri from June until September. During this time, the temperature will typically range from around 19°C to about 28°C, making it the perfect time to try out a range of water sports. However, during this period, especially during the summer months of July and August, there will be a lot of people and higher prices on boats. If you want to find the best deals, you should try to book your Caprese cruise for either June or September in order to take advantage of both the fantastic weather and the better deals on boats.

What are the best destinations for your cruise in a sailboat or catamaran in Capri?

There are many fantastic areas to visit on a cruise in Capri and you should take the opportunity to visit as many as possible while you’re in the vicinity. Some of the best starting harbours for your voyage include Capri, Sorento, Positano, Amalfi, Massa Lubrense, and Ischia. From any of these, you should be able to visit any of the following places.

Ischia

Ischia is an island just a short distance from Capri and a great place to visit during your boat charter. There are many beautiful beaches here for you to relax on, such as the Baia di San Montano, the Spiaggia di Cava dell’Isola, and the Spiaggia di San Francesco, but there is also so much more. If you’re going to the town of Lacco Ameno, you should make sure you see the Fungo di Lacco Ameno, a curious rock which looks rather like a mushroom and the Basilica di Santa Maria di Loreto is always worth a visit. You should also definitely take the time to dive into the depths at the underwater caves of Ischia Ponte. You will love the wealth of marine life you’ll find here and leave awestruck.

Procida

Procida is another island off the coast of Italy, not far from Ischia. On Procida, you will have the opportunity to sunbathe on vast volcanic beaches, before taking a stroll around Marina Grande, with its impressive harbour and picture-perfect houses. Here, you will find the fishermen’s church of Santa Maria della Pieta, as well as having the opportunity to pick up some souvenirs and gifts for friends and family. If you’re feeling especially adventurous, you can also climb up to Terra Munta, a walled fortress-like village that will be one of the first things to come into view when you approach the island. Finally, you should make sure you sample some of the sumptuous local seafood in the fishing village of Marina Chiaiolella for a veritable feast.

Sorrento

To visit Sorrento, you’ll be heading to the coast of mainland Italy and you certainly won’t run out of things to do here. When visiting the Old Town, you will have the chance to experience Italian life as the locals do, taking in the beautiful buildings while wandering through the winding streets. You should make sure you stop off for gelato at the Gelateria Davide, a family-run gelateria, which has been said to serve the best gelato in Sorrento. This is the perfect way to wash down all the sumptuous seafood that you will also be treated to when you visit Sorrento. Or, if you fancy washing your meal down with something that has a bit more of a kick, visit Limonoro, where you can try Limoncello, while also learning a little more about this zesty Italian spirit.

Positano

Just a short distance from Sorrento, you will find Positano. Nature lovers will love Positano for its range of excellent hiking routes, one of the most famous of which is Il Sentiero degli Dei, or ‘Path of the Gods’. This hiking route is the perfect way to escape the crowds, while enjoying fantastic views of the coast and also Capri. After hiking, what better way to cool off, than to bathe in the crystalline waters of Positano Spiaggia Grande. There are many restaurants here where you can try some local seafood, and you can also rent out kayaks and go for a paddle. Even at night, the party doesn’t stop here. If you fancy throwing yourself into the Italian nightlife, the beachfront nightclub of Music on the Rocks is the perfect place to do so. This is one of the best nightclubs on the Italian coast and completely unique, given that it was actually carved into the rocks and so feels like you are literally partying in a refurbished cave.

How much does a cruise in a catamaran or sailboat cost in Capri?

The price of a cruise in a sailboat or catamaran in Capri will fluctuate depending on a number of different factors. As already mentioned, a catamaran charter is more expensive than a sailboat charter. Other factors that affect the cost include the season, how long you plan to sail for, and the size, make, and model of the boat. Whether or not you want to set sail with a skipper and crew will also affect the price. Furthermore, it should be noted that usually, the price listed on the website only covers the basic charter cost. There will be a lot of mandatory and optional extras to add on to the price.

Mandatory extras can include things such as administrative costs, a final clean of the boat, fuel, a diving inspection to check for any damage that might have been done during the trip, and necessities such as bedclothes, plates, and cutlery. Optional extras will typically include things like water sports equipment and can definitely increase the fun you can have on board. You should always check with the boat owner exactly what is included before setting sail to avoid any unpleasant financial surprises later on.

As a rough guide, though, a cruise in a sailboat in Capri can cost anywhere from around €300 per week, whereas a cruise in a catamaran will usually cost at least €350 per week.
