Hi I 'm the new owner of this magnific sailboat, sistership of swan. I can show you wonderful places bitwin Calvi and Lavezzi, including sanguinaires islands, Ajaccio Bay, Porto Pollo, Bonifacio aso. I' m sailing since I'm 5. There are 2 double cabins, the one on the back accept even 3 children in case. Electric toilets new. Zodiac for 5 persons with 5cv. Sails in very good shape, new spinnaker. I always try to avoid motor, and I'm very attentive at security.

This is a great choice for those looking for a chilled out sailing experience in Corsica. We had a great time with Eric on his Grand Soleil. The boat is fast, comfortable and well equipped. Eric is very friendly, funny and easy going. He is also an experienced skipper, happy to share his passion about sailing. He knows the island well and can take you to all the good spots. So we found this 4 days hire to be excellent value, filled with many good memories. Thanks Eric!
Eric is a very knowledgeable sailor with over 50 years of experience. He was a very accommodating host and went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our trip aboard. I'd happily book with him again!
Eric is an extremely helpful person. When our daughter couldn't continue the boat trip because of seasickness, Eric went out of his way to help and contacted a friend in Ajaccio who offered a free overnight stay at his house. Also, the spells of good sailing that we had were enjoyable. In spite of this, we wouldn't book another trip on the boat. A nauseating smell of unwashed bodies and clothes under deck, as well as a skipper who is expecting his clients' food supplies to be free to take for himself, we found rather unpleasant. Add a few other weird or cringe moments on board, we ended up we an experience we wouldn't want to repeat.
What a mess. A half-competent skipper who checked the weather, his fuel supply, his navigation, would have avoided the nightmare of 24 hours at sea with NO stops for swimming, NO beach time, NO visits to restaurants and only the most rudimentary and insulting supply of food and drink. My dear companion on this one-day cruise to hell had a miserable time puking into her plastic bucket. Was this the result of sea sickness or the dirty and unhygienic state of the vessel? Both, probably. The most that can be said in praise is that the crew were congenial.
We were a couple with 5-10 yr old kid /girl and had a fantastic south of Ajaccio , almost arriving to Bonifacio, in a 5 day trip. It was the first time for the family on the boat and the children loved it. Of course, it is a 34 foot boat, not the Queen Mary , so some discomfort was expected but nothing that waking up to trown yourself in the blue waters of the mediterranean coould not pay off. Bonjour, Passionné de voile depuis mon enfance, j'ai commencé la croisière en Bretagne à l'adolescence. J'ai eu mon premier voilier, un challenger scout en 2005, puis mon First 32 en 2015. Puis tout récemment un Grand Soleil 343. J'ai choisi ce grand soleil car c'est une fabrication de grand luxe à l'ancienne, avec l'exigence de l'époque qui a malheureusement disparu depuis. En version deux cabines doubles et lit double dans le carré, ce bateau est d'un grand confort pour quatre personnes en plus de moi. Je peux dormir dans le carré ce qui vous laisse 2 cabines doubles, celle arrière étant vraiment grande pouvant éventuellement accepter jusqu'à 3 enfants. Toujours attentif à la sécurité, soucieux de bien faire marcher mon bateau, je suis un vrai voileux qui évite au maximum de mettre le moteur. Nous pourrons visiter les calanques et mouillages paradisiaques, et respirer au gré des vagues. J'ai déjà fait 4 fois le tour de Corse, ce qui m'a toujours laissé de magnifiques souvenirs. J'ai travaillé 35 ans en long métrages comme monteur, ai réalisé plusieurs courts métrages et documentaires, et j'ai eu la chance d'apprendre avec de grands cinéastes aujourd'hui tous disparus. Après un bref passage en tant que directeur de production et prof de montage, je me suis échappé de ce monde pour vivre mon dernier rêve d'enfant, vivre sur mon bateau et parcourir les mers. Mes prochaines destinations: Sicile Sardaigne et Grèce.
