The true paradise of the Seychelles Islands

Those who have seen photos of the Seychelles Islands know that this cluster of islets truly represents our clearest ideas of paradise. Crystal clear waters, white sand, deserted beaches and unexplored nature are some of the words that come to mind when you think of a paradise destination. And honestly, the photos don't do it justice.

Seychelles is a West African country located in the middle of the Indian Ocean, literally in the middle of nowhere. Made up of 115 paradisiacal islands, each one more beautiful than the last, this little piece of the world has already been in Portuguese, British, French and even pirate refuge. Despite its turbulent history, it is a relatively unexplored country that has preserved its reserves and natural beauty through time.

It's capital, Victoria, home to the international airport that welcomes tourists from all over the world, is commonly described as a village, given its size and small population. If quiet, tranquility and curiosity are your profile, the Seychelles Islands are your best option. And what better way to experience all the paradisiacal islands and beaches than through a boat rental?

With Click&Boat you can experience this little piece of paradise in a unique way! Make your own itinerary, choose the time and activities of each stop and enjoy your holiday in the complete privacy of your private boat tour!

Take a boat trip to the Seychelles Islands!

With 115 islands and more beaches than you can count, a boat trip in the Seychelles allows you to make time your ally and make the most of your trip. But for that, your itinerary needs to be well defined.

Let's check out some of the things we consider a must-see on your trip to the Seychelles Islands:

We suggested leaving Mahé, where the capital is, until last, and instead starting with Praslin. This is one of the largest islands, and also has an airport, though not an international one. Arriving in Victoria, you can take a flight there, or go directly by boat (!).

  • This island is full of beaches with crystal clear waters and white sands, excellent for swimming. Anse Lazio for example, is wonderful for families with children as its waters are warm and without strong currents or seaweed. It is a very good spot for diving or snorkeling, so how about renting a boat with the necessary instruments already? If snorkelling is your thing, a trip to Saint Pierre Island is a must! Fauna and flora native to the region in abundance + unbelievable blue waters!
  • Still thinking about a family trip, how about sailing towards Curieuse Island to meet the Seychelles' famous giant tortoises? They represent the local fauna like no other animal, and are super worth the visit.
  • The exclusive Anse Georgette Beach, which is free to access but requires a reservation to get in, is a super private way to enjoy a peaceful day on the water.
  • Sail with your boat towards Grand Anse and the island's deserted southern beaches (Anse Bois de Rose, Anse Consolation, Anse Marie-Louise), only accessible by boat or trail, for an experience of total isolation and privacy, without giving up the clear waters and white sand.
  • To close your Praslin boat trip on a golden key, watching the pink sunset from Anse Volbert is an absolute must, and what better way to do that than from the deck of your own boat, sharing a beer with family and friends?

La Digue Island, by many considered the most beautiful island in the Seychelles (we won't argue!), is only accessible by boat, so you'll already be at an advantage in that regard, without worrying about tickets, schedules or crowds.

  • The first stop, without a doubt, must be Anse Source d'Argent beach, often voted the most beautiful in the world. And it's not for nothing. Crystal clear waters, white sand, palm trees, granite cliffs and coral reefs make up the landscape of this place that looks like something out of a dream. The sunset is especially unforgettable on this beach, it's worth it.
  • It is worth noting that in La Digue, the main forms of transport are boats and bicycles, so private boat rental is the best option for your tour, besides being more private and comfortable, it also comes out cheaper.
  • If your travel dream is to swim with giant turtles (yes, you read right), in Anse Severe you will find your paradise!
  • Another boat trip that makes your trip worthwhile is the route through Grand Anse, Petit Anse and Anse Cocos, beautiful and paradisiacal beaches in sequence for an unforgettable tour along tropical palm trees to azure waters!
  • Anse Cocos beach is especially beautiful and deserted and deserves a long stop, especially for those who enjoy diving and snorkeling. Its crystal clear waters are perfect for this and its secluded location ensures the peace and quiet we seek in this paradise.
  • Also for diving lovers, from La Digue it is possible to sail towards several islands where snorkelling is the right order. Felicité Island is one of the most famous, in addition to Grand Soeur, Petit Soeur, and many others.

Make your list, create your itinerary, and climb aboard!

We've now arrived in Mahé, the largest island in the Seychelles, home to the capital and the airport that will unfortunately take you home at the end of your trip. With 65 beaches to offer, this island does not come out low in the rankings.

  • Mahé's most popular beach is undoubtedly Beau Vallon, on the island's northern coastline, famous for its breathtaking views, chilling sunsets and crystal clear waters loved by scuba diving and snorkelling enthusiasts. Take advantage of your boat rental in Mahé to explore the rest of the north coast and discover new deserted, paradise-like beaches.
  • Enjoy visiting some of the other beaches on the island such as Anse Intendance, with its turquoise blue waters, Petit Anse, Anse Takamaka, Anse Royal, three beaches that look like a movie set, Lazare Bay with its huge sands and much more!

Definitely would recommend going to Long Island, Round Island, and St Anne. Make sure to go to Long Island and round Island during low tide. Do 5 hours instead of 4. You can ask Dominique to extend the hour and pay a little bit more. Go to the private Island in St Anne.

The trip was organised perfectly! There was nothing we hat to take care of. The skipper took us to a few small islands just ogg the coast if Victoria. The snorkelling places there are fabulous - we even saw some reef sharks while snorkelling. There was plenty to do in that area!

The Seychelles is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Golden beaches and crystal clear water, friendly locals, great food. We've been lucky to explore many parts of the world, but there is nowhere quite like the Seychelles. Mahe is a wonderful island, but make sure to head to La Digue for the most stunning beaches.
