Definitely would recommend going to Long Island, Round Island, and St Anne. Make sure to go to Long Island and round Island during low tide. Do 5 hours instead of 4. You can ask Dominique to extend the hour and pay a little bit more. Go to the private Island in St Anne.

The trip was organised perfectly! There was nothing we hat to take care of. The skipper took us to a few small islands just ogg the coast if Victoria. The snorkelling places there are fabulous - we even saw some reef sharks while snorkelling. There was plenty to do in that area!

The Seychelles is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Golden beaches and crystal clear water, friendly locals, great food. We've been lucky to explore many parts of the world, but there is nowhere quite like the Seychelles. Mahe is a wonderful island, but make sure to head to La Digue for the most stunning beaches.

Catamaran rental in the Seychelles islands: a dream holiday

Ready to be breathless? Incredible holidays in the Seychelles really will take your breath away! The brilliant colours of the ocean, sky and nature will fill your eyes, revealing a simply paradisiacal setting.

So get ready to plan your routes: some 115 incredible islands await you!

And what better way to appreciate the beauty of the landscapes of this archipelago than on board a boat? That's why, with all your comfort, renting a catamaran in Seychelles will be the perfect choice.

Surrounded by the glistening waters of the Indian Ocean, the islands of the archipelago will delight and entertain you: water sports, nature walks, traditional cuisine, heavenly beaches and fun days spent on board the catamaran, between moments of relaxation and diving.

From Victoria Harbour, located on Mahé, the archipelago's main island, you can easily sail on a hired catamaran and embark on one of the most spectacular adventures ever. Praslin and Sainte-Anne Bay, La Digue and the fine sandy beaches of the many islets of the Outer Islands group are just waiting to be explored!

Advantages of hiring a catamaran for your holiday

Choosing a catamaran rental in Seychelles means choosing comfort and safety above all else. A catamaran cruise combines moments of excitement, sailing, relaxation and luxury, all on board a real floating hotel.

In addition, sailing aboard a catamaran is much more stable than on a sailboat, the interior spaces are larger and more airy, and the outdoor spaces are ideal for spending your best moments under the sun.

Are you thinking of taking a family trip? This type of boat is the ideal option for travelling with children on board, in complete safety.

Seychelles Islands sailing potential

The Seychelles Islands are undoubtedly among the ideal destinations for a catamaran cruise. With an abundance of wildlife and over 490km of sparkling coastline, you definitely won't have time to get bored here!

The archipelago is divided into three districts: Mahé, the Inner Islands and the Outer Islands.

Interior Islands - the most popular among yachtsmen are Praslin, La Digue and Mahé. Sailing conditions here are favourable, thanks to a well-developed infrastructure and a network of modern marinas available to all tourists. This area also offers many safe anchorages for diving.

Outer Islands - some 72 sparsely populated, unspoilt coral reef (or coralline) islands, however less suitable for sailors and tourists. Nearby currents and coral reefs, sometimes not visible on maps, are a major obstacle, especially for the safety of passengers on board. In any case you can sail close to them, diving to discover the beautiful seabed, swimming with dolphins, or even, diving to discover caves, atolls and caverns of incomparable beauty.

From Victoria Harbour on the main island Mahé, you can easily reach the most beautiful parts of the archipelago by catamaran.

  • A special attraction is the island of Praslin, located in the north-east, and its Vallée de Mai Nature Reserve. Did you know that the Seychelles Islands are the only place in the world where you can see coconut palms? Their fruits can reach enormous sizes and weigh up to 25kg!
  • Not to be forgotten are Sainte-Anne Bay, Chevalier Bay and Silhouette Island, the third largest island in the archipelago, which boasts magnificent views and fantastic beaches.
  • Still north of the island, between Machabee and La Varangue, you can anchor at Anse Mondon and enjoy phenomenal scenery.
  • During your catamaran holiday in the Seychelles, we recommend you not to miss La Digue Island, the natural home of rare giant tortoises, and the Sainte-Anne Marine National Park, located near Mahé Island.

The most beautiful beaches in the Seychelles.

Can you imagine yourself sunbathing on a white sandy beach, soaking in turquoise waters and losing yourself in total relaxation, listening to the sound of the waves? The Seychelles won't disappoint you!

Awning some of the most fascinating beaches in the world, you'll find paradisiacal landscapes and idyllic beaches on these islands. But which ones can't we miss?

  • Mahé Island: the beaches of Port Launay, Anse lslette, Anse Soleil, Anse Du Riz, Carana Beach, Baie Lazare,
  • Plaslin Island: the beaches of Anse Georgette, Anse Lazio, Grande Soeur,
  • La Digue Island: the beaches of Anse Source d'Argent, Anse Cocos, Anse Marron, Petit Anse, Grand Anse.

Paradise beaches, quiet coves and exotic landscapes will guarantee you an unforgettable holiday for your whole family!

Seychelles catamaran cruise: useful information

How much does it cost to hire a catamaran in the Seychelles?

In any case, the initial cost would be around 375€ per day, bearing in mind that, in general, owners tend to prefer bookings for weekly rentals.

The Seychelles is the perfect destination to escape the winter cold and bad weather.

Here, where the sun never seems to set and average temperatures are around 27°C, there are all the prerequisites for a successful excellent holiday!

If you want to plan a rental in the Seychelles, however, keep in mind the periods when the low season arrives for the islands. For example, between December and February winds rise and rainfall is more frequent.

For sailing, it's best to consider the period between April and November.
