The staff in Cognac were extremely professional and helpful. The port that the Canalous boat fleet use in Cognac is very small, therefore manoeuvring in and out we found quite difficult. We would have appreciated a "total cost calculator" (there are many "extras" to be factored in) before we started the booking process so that we could have assessed the total cost of the holiday before we committed to the booking. Nevertheless, the Charente river offered a delightful few days.
