HALF-DAY OPTION: 4PM-8:30PM Join our full-day private sailing trip, leaving Heraklion Old port daily and live a proper sailing experience, looked after by our experienced and hospitable crew, with plenty of time to take in this wonderful journey. With the best views of Crete seen only by sea, we will make enough anchor stops to give you the opportunity to admire the beaches and of course sailing! We meet at the Old Venetian port of Heraklion and our staff welcome you on board. We will give you the safety briefing and boat handling instructions and set our sails for our first destination, the island across the island! Dia is an uninhabited island, 7 nautical miles north and is protected by the Natura 2000 project because of its biodiversity. The trip there lasts almost one hour, during which you can enjoy the beauty of the sea, the silence and calmness and get informed on eco sailing and marine life around Crete or participate in the sailing activities with our skilled skipper! HIGHLIGHTS: Pickup service is available for free from Heraklion and surrounding up to 10km. Please provide your accommodation details. Pick up is available from any part of Crete upon extra charge. You will be contacted within 24hours after your booking regarding the meeting point, pickup time and extra cost if there is any. Meal option is available upon extra cost. A delicious lunch will be prepared for you, exclusively from fresh and local ingredients. ABOUT OUR YACHT: You are watching a beautiful and comfortable yacht for up to 10 guests. With 5 cabins and 3 wc/showers it is the perfect sailing yacht for a daily escape or more days. Explore the coastline of Crete, sail to Cyclades with comfort and safety. Carrying almost 800lts of water and powered by sails, a strong engine and brand new solar panels, makes it self sufficient for your summer vacation.

Pro: very nice check-in and welcome Cons: Maintainance of boat is awful. - Following things not working at all: Wind indicator, Autopilot, speed indicator, solar panels - Clamp blocks for sheets&co damaged/broken and hard to operate with - Two cabins slightly wet (stern BB, bow), smelled mouldy - Mattresses very old/uncomfortable - Dinghi leaking - Not as in description of boat: solar panels not operating (not even connected), no teak deck - "bumpy" checkout / owner very unfriendly and available only via phone (skipper who did the technical checkout was very friendly) - We chartered boats in this "age category" several time in Greece, this was by far the worst in terms of maintenance.
