Super place from which to gaze upon the stars and get a suntan. Good reactive communication before and during cruise However quite a few things broken/missing cleats/cockpit table/missing water tank cap/hole in genoa…boat is from 2005. Dinghy was broken but Ivan was very quick to come to us the second day with a quality replacement. Also expectation that crew refuels at Zadar which with the queues became very challenging to keep position.
Ivan does not speak English very well but is very reactive and honnest. He will respond to you very quickly for any questions and he is very comprehensive. The Bavaria 38 cruiser was a very nice boat to sail even if we were 7. Thanks again ! May we see you next year !
Very nice owner and experienced, balanced skiper. Owner reacts fast in technical problems.
Ivan was great! We didn't need a skipper and Ivan explained everything. There is no Bugstrahlruder though as opposed to the information provided. I saw some reviews saying that the mechanische Ankerwinde doesn't work, but for us it did work. No problems with the boat whatsoever.
We had an excelent holiday on board. The owner was really helpfull every time we needed. The boat is a little old, but amazing price/value relation.
The boat was in general in a good shape for its age and the boat owner was very nice and always tried to help. Unfortunately the speedmeter and the wind display did not work. These are not critical, but would be nice to have them working. But still exploring the Zadar area was super nice.
Boat and equipment pretty worn out, guess that’s what you get with a boat that age. Very friendly contact and easy check in/out. No bow thruster, no electric windlass, although advertised as valable equipment.
We had a nice trip in this boat. Owner was very nice and answered all questions rapidly. The boat is used but is it what you can expect considering the price. The Zadar area was fantastic our skipper Grecko was very nice and knew a lot of beautiful places in the area.
Communication with boat owner worked fine. He was very flexible and accommodating. The price-performance ratio was also good!
We had a good week! Very nice people! Even sent us weather updates via WhatsApp
Regulations: Bavaria 38 seems to be equipped for coastal sailing (<6 miles), which I have never seen in 40 years for this type of boat. You can't go around Duigi Otok... plus the flashing light was missing. Safety: 2nd anchor provided without chain... an anchor without chain is useless. Deck fittings: everything is patched up, fairleads glued and mounted upside down, ropes and sails worn beyond reason, except the mooring lines. 2 ropes broke during the week, including the dinghy's mooring line. I lost my deposit because of an unmaintained boat. Renting this boat can only be conceived to sleep in the port every night and go out under the engine to a cove less than 2 miles from the port
When planning our sailing adventure, the boat rental company was very flexible and accommodated all of our requests and changes, which was very helpful. The boat owner was reliable and found us the best skipper we could imagine for our family for a sailing trip in Croatia. Above all, we would like to thank him for an unforgettable trip through Croatia's island paradise.
Hajdi and Ivan are excellent people, almost immediate responses and a feeling of tranquility. The Argo boat is comfortable and safe but requires some accommodation, small details that do not compromise the success of the holiday. Ivan is kind and present at check-in, immediately solving every need. Excellent experience for us.
Very good reception and check out, everything was uncomplicated. The yacht is getting old, but the price-performance ratio is right. You don't have to be as careful as you do with brand new boats. Contrary to what is stated, the boat does not have a bow thruster! But all other things work.
The ship is older and unfortunately was returned somewhat damaged by the previous tenants. Of course, the landlord can't do anything about that. The communication, acceptance and return worked very well and quickly. We had a great trip.
Price / performance fully in order. Space on deck tight compared to newer years of construction of the boats. Communication and service from the owner top, gladly again
