Absolutely fantastic boat that was very comfortable. We had quite a few beginners on the boat that didn’t get sea sick because the boat was so stable and spacious. It also was fast and fuel efficient which meant it was easy to explore lots of the lovely islands surrounding Zadar. Communication was top notch and they were very very accommodating. I think the Genoa could do with being replaced, as it was starting to fray in places, and has lots of patches. But I would 100% recommend this boat. There were 10 of us and it was perfect for the weekend (we were mostly all quite small though so it might struggle to fit 10 large people). Thanks again to Ivan and Hajdi 😊
Lovely boat to sail and dock. Ivan was very helpful and accommodating.
Very nice boat in an area perfect for sailing. We had some very nice days on board while sailing the islands around Zadar. The boat is and looks quite used but everything important works. The communication was short but complete and the host was receiving us at pickup and returning the boat. And was very helpful.
That was amazing experience. We would like to thank our skipper Griczko, he made our journey! Yacht is old, but in a good condition. We got some problems with electricity, but if you got power-bank’s, it’s all right. Amazing journey, with great skipper and kindhearted owner of a boat. Thank you for our great vocation!
Great boat and Ivan makes all easy. He is flexible with the arrival time and is always finding a solution of what you need. I will rent with him again.
Good host very nice service
I'd like to start by saying we had a great holiday and would use this yacht again. We chartered this yacht as the owners are flexible with start days and charter periods, ours was 10 days Sunday to Wednesday, which is hard to find in the market and suited our needs perfectly. Before the charter the owner was very responsive and answered all our questions. On arrival the boat was easy to find in Zadar, and the agent "Ivan" was there to meet us as arranged. We also must commend the owner and agent on their responsiveness to a problem that arose during the charter, the mailsail furler jammed. An engineer was arranged to come out to the boat first thing the next morning to "sort" the problem which allowed us to sail for the rest of the charter. We thought this was excellent service. However, the condition of the yacht was a bit under par, if you are expecting a sparkling yacht without a mark on it you will be disappointed. This is obviously a boat that has had a long charter life and is now a bit tired and need of maintenance. There are numerous issues (of differing severity) that need addressing. None of which prevented us from sailing and enjoying our holiday but other charterers may have an issue with them. Below are some of the points we noticed:- - Navigation lights did not work (we didn't sail at night) - Aft port fairlead was missing. - Various cupboard latched did not work. - Anchor chain would jam in windlass (we found a way to manage this) - Parts of the rubbing strake were missing or lose. - Right hand gas hob kept blowing out (could only use one hob) - lever to stop stove gimbling was missing (awkward to use at anchor) -One of the water tank gauges was sporadic (could not be trusted) -It didn't appear to have hot water without shore power (this may have been our issue not the boat). I'm aware that charter yachts get heavily used and suffer more "wear and tear" than you might normally expect and none of these issues caused us much of a problem, however added altogether they made it quite noticeable that the yacht could do with an extended period of maintenance. To sum it up we enjoyed our charter, (the Dalmatian coast is a fantastic place to sail), we had great service from the owner and agent, but the yacht could be in better condition. We would charter this yacht again, (but keep our fingers crossed that some of the points above will have been fixed in the meantime).
The boat has a lot of problems. I ask clickboat to leave this review up as cause I feel there were no prior detailed reviews to allow people to make an informed decision before booking. Firstly, the boat is docked in Zadar main marina and not sukosan. This meant we had accomodation the night before charter in wrong location and had to get cabs into zadar for a large group. Then owner failed to inform is we were going to have to wait 4/5 hours in marina for the sail to be fixed. Finally when it was “fixed” we were told it was unsafe to sail with 8 people despite us having booked a professional skipper. Waste of time. On board was dirty, anchor was a massive headache to pull up as it kept getting stuck, no water skiis as advertised and dinghy moves at incredibly slow speed - motor is super old. Finally, we had no ability to charge our phones as electric plugs do not work (apparently you have to be docked in a proper marina for it to work - again noone told us this and we mainly docked in small bays (as you usually would in Croatian kornati islands). Owner was unwilling yo accept any responsibility for the boat and kept putting the blame on us because it was just the way it is with this sort of boat. So beware before you go and book this or ask for a steeep discount (which the owner refused to give to us).
We had a great journey! Our skipper Marino was really good and warmly welcome us! We recommend the boat, everything was really clean! The Croatia see was also very nice to visit!
